    Good job!! It is nice to see a review from someone who isn't just a fan boy saying what they think Motion wants to hear! From what I can tell you may have just a tad too much up elevator throw though because on those take offs you can see the plane try to stall before you let go. But I appreciate you sharing your throws and being able to see the plane fly! I maiden mine this weekend!

      Thank you sir! 🫡🫡 and yeah I was definitely rotating too early and pulling a little to hard on the elevator. On that second take off it definitely dropped a wing dramatically! Also the strong cross wind I had that day wasn't helping much either.

    Good to see you had better luck than we did. I am probably going to build the back up model this weekend. Hopefully, I don't have a repeat of the issues with the first one.

      Unfortunately you're not the only one. I've seen so many horror stories with this plane. It's hard to tell if they were bad setups or pilot fault or just genuine technical issues. It's sad because it really is an awesome flying plane when everything is working properly. I hate seeing this beautiful plane as a wreck on the ground. I hope you have better luck with your new one! 🫡🫡

    Cross your trims so they are on the opposite side, makes it easier to trim. Awesome video!

      Hmmm. Never thought of that. Might have to give it a try. Thanks!

    Such a nice plane! It’s really fun! Puts a smile on your face for sure! Thanks for posting ! The lighter 4400 packs really let this plane fly great.

      Yeah I have to get another one of those batteries. My last SMC 4400 unfortunately spent a month in a plane I put in a tree lol. Needless to say, that battery is no good now

    Great Maiden Man😊, I could literally hear/feel your adrenalin. Oh that feeling in your finger tips, all of us rc flyers can relate , maidens are almost always nerve wracking.

    You mentioned you used an AR8020. If this is actually an AR8020T you actually have a 9 channel receiver. That Bind/Prog/Srxl2 is a ninth channel and will show up Aux4. That “Prog” is the key. If you need it.

    • @RaGeRC
      @RaGeRC  6 месяцев назад

      I actually didn't know that. I'll have to check it out. If so that's awesome! Thanks for the info!

    • @mikesidler7413
      @mikesidler7413 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@RaGeRC actually let me correct myself. On SAFE receivers you can use the Bind/Prog/Srxl2 as the FMode channel to select off/as3x/safe. It doesn’t support plugging in a servo. So 8.5 channels..😜

    Where did you place your RX wires? I saw a glimpse of it, but didn't get a good look.

    Its a sexy bird and I have done a few videos Ive done a very extensive build video on it and Im looking fwd to getting it out myself when the weather is good here in the northeast. This bs I have found from some ppl is there isnt any diff with the push rods they are the same size on each end of the rod with the ball joint.. This is a bullshit fallacy bc the push rods push in tight and no diff on each end so I have no I idea what these idiots are talking about. Great flight nice job you are a excellent rc pilot👍👍👍👍👍

    Looking for your trim switch? NO WAY! Its the thing i HATE most about Spektrum NX radios. I have really big hands and I can never find the damn trim switch because they moved it up and to the left of where they always used to be on older radios. That, the color screens, and way over priced recievers are enough for me to switch to Frsky.

    • @RaGeRC
      @RaGeRC  4 месяца назад

      Yeah the trim switches are definitely different. Before I used to just reach over with my thumb now I find myself taking my hand off the throttle stick and reach over to feel for the damm trim switch! 😂😂
