I flew mine with a 3300 I noticed with the retracts and everything this jet is kinda heavy . I see you had that battery sitting beyond the battery bay on top of the wire harness I felt uncomfortable doing that things can come unplugged but hey it’s your jet good flight
I put my servos in the tail and glued the horizontal stabs in to add strength. I ripped a whole elevator servo and all out after doing 8s cobras lol . I also have longer servo horns. My stabs flip like a construction stop sight lole
@DownNDirtyRc well I'm right there with ya I plowed mine into the ground the other day lol prob gonna have to get arf since I dam near have to replace almost everything.
How did you create more points for the throttle based gains? I see you have about 8 but on my IX14 I only have 3. Thanks for the grass ops demo. Cheers.
@VinnyM.92 I work at a autobody shop as a painter so I used some pear paint to paint the inside of it. You really can used any transparent paint to paint it tho.
@bigheadzmotorsports Yes I'll do it in a future video but I may or may not have smashed this plane into the ground being stupid so I may have to wait for parts to be instock before I can get it back in the air. 😬
For your gains/throttle mix why do you have it dip down again at low throttle rather than keeping it at 80%? I'm thinking of setting mine up gyro like this as well.
When you get into too high of angle of attack its deep stalling and f22 ls arent known to do steep high alpha. Great flying though I've been waiting for a video of someone showing what it can really do!
@SuperiorRadioControl Thanks. Yeah I noticed when I got it the aoa little too extreme the ailerons became ineffective. But it is an awesome plane to throw around because recovering is so easy.
Nice flights. Did great on grass.
Dude nice! The model looks good!!
@hamiltonshangar It's actually pretty awesome! And for the money you can't beat it. Such a fun plane to throw around in the air!
@@RaGeRC ill definitely have to try this one out. I’m Almost done with the 93mm 😁
@hamiltonshangar Yeah that build looks insane! Can't wait to see it done!
Thansk for including ur setting for AS3x bro pls do that more often
Rage fantastic maiden flying. Wow that was epic on your setup. Jeff in LA USA

@DownNDirtyRc that's insane! I think I seen your post on The Motion RC group page on FB. Was that you?
@@RaGeRC lol probably. I have 2 of them. one got stuck in a tree lol so I stripped it to cut weight and toss it. It's a beast!

Put a 120 amp esc aand run 8s.. it's amazing. I hit 150 today,!

@M4rkmcc21 when you're in that menu setting up the points, raise the throttle up and you should see a promt pop up that says "add point"
What did you use to tint the canopy?
@VinnyM.92 I work at a autobody shop as a painter so I used some pear paint to paint the inside of it. You really can used any transparent paint to paint it tho.
@ awesome! Thanks dude. Looks great
Are you going to try to remix crow and test? Nice flying!
@bigheadzmotorsports Yes I'll do it in a future video but I may or may not have smashed this plane into the ground being stupid so I may have to wait for parts to be instock before I can get it back in the air. 😬
@@RaGeRC haha it happens!
@@bigheadzmotorsports yes it does
how did you do the canopy tinting? looks great
@@flywithmikefromchicago I took the canopy plastic off and sprayed the inside with transparent paint
i will be trying a HRB 5000 in two weeks to get 5 min safely will see how the extra weight feels

@jsmiley85 no real reason. Just in using the throttle mix for while now it's just felt better that way.

which one is better? 90mm or 70mm
@IanChen-m1o I haven't flown the 90 but hear great things about it. This one is awesome too!
Dude!! Why fly so dam high? I can't see Jack!! Not even one low pass full speed? Whatcha fraid of?
