The droids and little lightsaber holder are nice additions aswell. Got this and the boba and Han carbonite transformation set aswell. Those two got me hooked on collecting minifigs. Went through them yesterday and now my son's hooked aswell haha
On the lego website it’s retired but now it’s $80! Edit: I would still buy it any day of the week for that sweet sweet ani figure and darth vader, and because it’s super rare now that it got retired like I already said.

Disney: noooo Jedi Fallen Order is too violent for Lego (even though it's already heavily censored by having no dismemberment) also Disney: orders Lego to make sets based on one of the most gruesome scenes in the whole saga
I agree. Especially during that scene in Obi-Wan Kenobi (SPOILER ALERT) ....when Reva slices off the hand of one of the citizens. And yet LEGO is still inclined to make sets from Kenobi. Also I did not expect such a ballsy move from Disney to include a dismemberment scene.
@@danielt.9586 this is the most un-Disney move Disney's ever done, the Kenobi show wasn't that good but I do see some hope on the horizon as in they finally allows dismemberment again now I wonder where that M-rated Star Wars game is...

This was the set that got me back into lego starwars again started buying slowly and slowly like maybe a set or two a year. Still don't buy a lot but did spend like $200 for may the 4th for some sets I wanted. But I remember seeing this set at Walmart and my friend and I were talking about lego star wars sets we had and we both picked up a set I think he got that dark trooper battlepack with 2 normal stormtroopers. I always wanted a palpatine figure and wanted that darth vader transformation set from revenge of the sith and all those sets years ago.
Man you really sold this set. I bought it in 2017 just for the minifigs and never built it. Now I get to dig it out of storage and act out the scene. Great review!
Really missed out in 2017. Would’ve really liked to get this, Obi-wan’s interceptor and the fighter tank from that year. Unfortunately was in my lego dark age from 2015-2020
The original was my first ever lego set so missing out on the rerelease at the time bothered me so as soon as it was gone I managed to find a K Mart selling their last set before the store was closed. Really loved the set
I think this set is awesome I bought it ages ago and I made a stop motion of it a while back I think the mini figs are awesome and it is rlly good for stop motion
I actually got this set for my birthday in 2018 I believe. I was mainly excited because it was my first Darth Vader figure who is my favorite character in all of Star Wars
Missed out this set. Back then I only collected vessels. Have palpatine's shuttle though, with the same play feature inside. But, like we all know, that isnt movie accurate and the set you just reviewed pretty much is.
Man i remember when I was 4 years old I build that thing and it somehow manage to break apart when storing then I was lazy to rebuild it again so I put it in a large container then years passby I gave the Legos all away bcuz I didn't know it was lego set now I just feel sad that I can't experience this feeling now that I'm older😢
Damn, I had the 2005 one as a kid and remember dropping my Vader minifigure just before the 3rd act in the cinema, was wounded but got it at the end. Ima need to own this version someday, baller looking set
Damn i got this set, lemme just say… the minifigs; vader, palpy, and battle scarred ani all for that cheap was insane! I wish i got some more to stock!
I had this set back in 2017 and it was interesting. It was the very first time I got a Darth Vader minfigure since he always was in pricey sets before. I prefer this transformation over the 2005 one
Top tier set, better version of the old one, well priced, easy access of harder to get figures, and some nice play features
I agree with you. I got a bunch of these as birthday gifts in 2017 for some reason. I had loads of Darth Vader’s from this set.
I have to agree with you. This is my personal favorite Lego Star Wars set because of the figures and the features.

Me too!
It is crazy how much lego can make a guy happy
Exactly the same for me. I only wanted it because you could get the updated Vader minifig for a pretty good price. I loved minifigs back then.
you should make a bigger version of the set with all of those

This is a baller set. One of my favorites for sure. Maybe we can get a bacta tank from Kenobi show?
Isnt that already in the Vaders Castle?

This set holds a special place in my heart as I got 3 sets together including this one from smyths, my biggest haul ever.
For me it’s where I got my first Vader.
I remember getting this set for my birthday in 2017 and I loved this set
Happy Birthday!
Thanks my birthday is in a month and 2 days
same, although a couple weeks after my dog chewed up the darth vader fig, that was a depressing time
@@frmug same bruh, i remember in 2010 i left my arc 170 pilots, and the stoopid dog chewed the figures big time

This set is so good, so glad I got when it was on shelves

Getting a set about anakin's *surgery* to become vader. Ironic isn't it?
Also i don't mean to say anything mean dont take this too seriously
Im so glad I bought this set when it first came out and still have it complete. One of my favorite Star War sets to date.

1. Are you ever going to review the 2016 deathstar?
2. Are you going to redo your at-te comparison when the new one comes out?
Yes and yes also you can just ask me questions you don't have to write ASK MandR lol
I love how he’s making videos on sets we probably purchased years ago…
The droids third leg is pretty big if you no what I’m saying😏
On my vacation to New York I got this set and couldn’t have been happier with it.
Just recovered this set from my big leg bin and rebuilt. Was still fun even like that. Unfortunately im missing the darth vader figure now :(
OMG YES!!! this was my first ever lego star wars set!!
I used to have this set, but sadly lost it
So disappointed i missed this one back then, truly a great set, and a good way to get cool minifigures for cheap
WAIT! This came out in 2017! I still can remember that I bought it with my mom when it came out
I love how they give two figs of darth Vader instead hist giving him the face
its one of my favorite sets as well and I still have it in one piece.
This set was my favorite because it was the first time I was able to get a Darth Vader minifigure, it was a steal for only 25$
What a hidden gem! I would have totally gotten this set back in the day if I saw this review

I had it when it was available…
It’s smashed now
I did. I am rebuying a lot of sets SEALED specifically to make a review on.
I bought this last week have to say batter than expected
I got it back in 2017 and i dont regret it but the bit where you put darth vaders helmet on could be some sort of machine if people want to think that
i was a dumbass and put all the pieces in my Lego bin mixed with a ton of other Lego’s and now I can’t find all the pieces :/
That is such a cool set. My mind was blown when you showed how you can lower the helmet.
my brother has the set and honestly everything's great, even the little action feature was rlly nice.
I got 5 of these sets for just $5 each at the end of their availability
Hope to see pretty soon a new Lego SW Diorama based on this set
