Water births are the best imo I had one myself and it made labor 100% easier. I'm glad she has a heathly baby :) I actually insisted on giving birth in the dark it weirdly made me feel better. Can I ask why she's basically on her back wouldn't squatting have been easier?
Honestly it was a few different things that led to me being so on my back, you can get a better idea of it in the full video on my channel. It pretty much boiled down to this birth hitting me really hard (much harder than my first) and I was in a lot of pain so they were trying to get me into a different position but one that was similar to the one I was in previously just rotated so that hopefully baby would come easier since I was a little crunched over and couldn’t bring myself to squat more upright. Then I ended up slipping down a bit during the process so I was a lot lower than I wanted to be but there really wasn’t any moving by that point haha. I’m pregnant again and am planning to birth in a different position because this one wasn’t my favourite.
