One of my relative, elderly person lost lot of money to this scammer in the hope of getting her health back. She continues to lose more money. Her son’s effort to convince her otherwise is of no use. It’s very pity to see her.😢
I'm not enlightened, but since I fell on videos of Sadguru, something bothered me, like it was a flaw in his teachings, plus, this fake forced laughing and his story on his enlightement. What conviced me I was right, it was his appearance in WEF.
Exactly I saw a photo of him hugging Klaus Schwab. Sadguru wad a big supporter of the now infamous vaccine. Around 22nd of March 2024 he had major emergency brainsurgery for two large brainbleeds. So much about enlightment....
I started watching some of his videos and seemed pretty cool but the further I investigated him the more concerns I had. This video matches those concerns. I'm pretty pissed at nearly being deceived by Sadhguru.

Sadguru talk less about enlightenment and more of other aspects of life. He saved my life with his wisdom that he broadcast through the Internet. He speaks English very well and is taking the historical Indian wisdom to the world. He made us appreciate nature and each other better, bringing the world closer. I will shed tears the day I will meet him . May he be granted a long life among us..

Not necessarily. Swami Prabhupada asked folks to buy his books, does that make him a scam? Money is not always a scam. What is a scam is what is attached to the money. For example, if someone says "Pay me $1000 and I will give you secrets nobody else has" - even though all the spiritual secrets are in our scriptures, which can be found for free - than its a scam.

Very informative! GREAT! When I watched him the first time, he said that he created goddess durga, the earth goddess! Vishnu has sanskrit name to say He is the creator of earth and nature Itself. The goddess is the earth and nature Herself. So he claims to be God! He is not the first who behaves in such a manner and will not be the last. Sadhguru teaches a path to greater wisdom and awareness. He has a clear and enlightened mind. I don't follow him directly other than watch his videos. I have followed many of the current great teachers and past ones as well. I have studied Buddhism, Tao, and Hindu in-depth for many years. I have studied and practiced holistic and Asian health practices for over 40 years. I know a fake when I see one, and Sadhguru is no fake. He has a true and deep connection to the highest levels of consciousness. That is what a guru should have.
You can have nice things as long as you are not attached to them. When you are not attached they come to you naturally. 😊👍❤

He never made fun of other religions nor sought to convert people from other religions into Hinduism. He never made people of other religions the villains. I find some of his ideas pseudo science but I take what I want from his lectures.

I can find it for free on RUclips. It's a great deal.
He says that if God comes, he will not worry about God cos he doesn't care about God. Yet, he cant even stop himself from growing old or passing stool. In the Vedic literatures, God, known by the the principle names Krishna, is described as an ever fresh 16 year old youth with a infinitely beautiful body that is full of knowledge, full of bliss and eternal. God is not an old man.
He claims to have mastered Yoga, yet He rejects the very same Yogic text like the Bhagavad Gita aa it is. He denies Lord Krishna, yet, he takes portions of Krishna's words in the Bhagavad Gita as if its own philosophy.
A true Guru is described with great detail in the Vedas.
One symptom of a real Guru is that he must be free from any material desire, including fame, following, prestige and enjoying material sense gratification.
He is full of humility, and comes in the line of disciplic succession (an unbroken chain of genuine gurus) from God Himself.
Here is powerful quote on some of the qualifications of a real guru "A sober person, who can tolerate the urge to speak, the minds demands, the actions of anger and can control the urges of the tongue, belly and genitals, is qualified to make disciples all over the world" - The Nectar of Instruction (Sri Rupa Goswami)

@@Bobby-fj8mk Ok, but he should not be called a guru and allow himself to be called a guru. The word guru and it's definition comes from the Vedas. Just like he cannot call himself the the president of the USA. That would be absurd. Calling him a guru is misleading and misinformation. One has to have the proper qualifications of guru to be accepted as such and those qualifications are fully outlined in the Vedic literatures, which are the source or origin of the word guru. That is my point.
And in terms of not following anyone else's rules, that's not entirely true, as he still has to follow the rules of the state or country he visits. He still needs a passport and visa and he is subject to universal laws including birth, old age, disease and death.

I've read a few of his books and seen several of his videos. I don't see or read anything that screams ego. He is simply sharing his experience. This same type of judgement can be made for Teachers, Preachers, Pastors, Rabbis and so on. Focus on your inner self. That's the Marrow of life. Connect with the divine light within yourself.
Anyone who preaches a specific "Religiosity" in order to reach enlightenment is selling false goods. Enlightenment already exists within each of us. We simply need to be still enough to identify it... "One should not point out the splinter in anothers eye, without first removing the beam, in our own".
Sadhguru is not selling anything, he is simply re-introducing us to a truth, that we have merely forgotten. Forgotten, because of consumerism, and a litany of other hendrences...
You know Osho once said, even if Krishna or Jesus born again and they start to preach spirituality, people will still call them fools.

It's impressive how these gurus begin their journey by a psychotic break probably because they have a disorder like bipolar disorder that gives the person a sense of greatness. Very limited information here much like your 127 subscribers! A good documentary would delve a bit deeper, into this man's background and history. Im not a fan of his or a critic I just observe what he does & decide for myself whether or not I believe in him enough to follow his teaching's.

I agree partly , as I practice spirituality I know the inner workings of this power.I know how this works. There's no doubt that he is enlightened, he has spiritual powers etc but whether you misuse that power or use it for the good of society is entirely upto a Guru. That's why we have GURUS who are sexual predators, who take advantage of innocent followers and extract money in the name of spirituality .

It should b remembered that he started this journey during 1990/91 and he started gaining popularity after 2010. So for decades he was on his own and when his name spreading far and wide, many many eyebrows are being raised and now non stop news about him??
Hes reportedly the target of particular religious text who, as pet reports, are relentlessly after him as they also feel threatened to their some conversion activities.

Follow the wisdom not the person.
Depends what's your definition of wisdom and what is your goal of life. A real guru to me is one who can liberate his followers from the cycle of birth, old age, disease and death and bring them to the stage of live of Godhead.

According to Sadhguru's own account in a porevious life he was a called Sunira who intened to "produce a perfect being", "he wants to build a living Shiva, ... a teacher for the world who is completely multidimensional".
This Sunira was simply mad. What he wanted to is the prerogative of Almighty God, the Creator.

Everything in this life costs money, he has a foundation so he has to make money to support it. That makes sense to me. I don't think he's false at all. I have been practicing isha's kriya's and meditation for the past 14 years. Though I am not in the ashram, I spend 2.5 hrs daily for my practices. Slowly, I began to realize movement of energy within the body in the pattern of 7 chakras. But I rarely experienced ecstacy. However, I have experienced my body where the outer boundary has become like a seive with energy moving in and out of my system. This happens when I maintain focus on my breath.

I had been to his Tennessee ashrama once, and he took one look at me and realised that I have unlimited energy which needed to be channeled.
He taught me the shunya kriya on day one.
Now because of my mastery of the shunya kriya I can travel the world, just travel through space and time.

That's common knowledge for anyone who do meditation using breath meditation...that is not Sathguru meditation method, in Budhha's meditation methods, breath meditation is used and Buddha lived 2600 years ago. This sadguru guy is an absolute con man, reason how I know is that he tried talking about Buddha and his teaching, he knew nothing, and he was just conning people lieing to them knowing very well the Indians do not know anything about Buddha Dharma... I am not an Indian, I studdy Buddha's teaching and I can say that I can teach anyone about Buddha Dharma and also I have practised Buddha's meditation method called Satipattana, when Sadguru was talking about Buddha and his stories, i knew this guy was conning people.

They call these paths a "practice" because that is exactly what you have to do to advance - practice! I started to learn Eastern energy practices about 40 years ago when I studied Tai Chi and Chinese Medicine. Back then I was only a beginner but I had some amazing experiences which showed me this stuff is real. I was lucky to have found some great masters who were the real deal.
Since then I've also been lucky to learn from many of the contemporary teachers and masters who are alive today. So I feel I have very good judgement as to when someone is full of BS.
My feeling after watching many Sadhguru videos is he is the real deal. He is a true mystic and knows what he is talking about. Maybe when it comes to Buddhism he is not a real expert and should leave the details up to someone who really knows. I went to lectures on Buddhism by a true scholar and I didn't find anything Sadhguru said to be way off the mark. But I think he spoke in more broad terms and didn't go into details on the Suttas, that's OK with me.
I also studied Hindu for several years and Sadhguru seems to know those beliefs pretty well. Even though as he has said he is a mystic and has not really read all the Vedas and other spiritual scriptures of the Hindu tradition either. And again that is OK with me. If you become enlightened there is no need for all that other knowledge. Knowledge is just empty words in your head unless you take action on it and truly realize it from experience. That is the quintessential point of his teachings. I think he's great and other people who don't like him are making up excuses and cherry picking reasons to not like him. And I've studied with many other great teachers so I have good experience to compare him and even judge him by.
People complain about him have a nice motorcycle. He rode one for years when he was younger. Then he was a successful business man for many years before becoming Sadhguru. He was not poor. Why not have a nice motorcycle. It shows he is smart. He rode 8,000 miles across the US to visit Native American Spiritual sites. That is an amazing feat. I would love to see anyone who complains about him do this. They would not make it 1,000 miles, maybe not 100 miles. It was feat of great endurance and I totally respect and admire him for his ability and his motivation for doing it. He was definitely not in it for some kind of glory because he never got any. The most he got was a really sore butt. But of course he visited some celebrities too because celebs are smart and they also understand spiritual practices and want to achieve better goals in their personal practice. So of course they want to connect with him and learn from him. Honestly people find the most foolish things to complain about.
