Like the aristocratic Chopin himself, Ginzburg never insists and if anything underplays here, seeming to be thinking out loud, though the structure is rock solid for all its filigree. For a more vital and variegated performance drink in his Op. 25 Etudes. Incomparable. As always, thanks.

BRAVOI! Superb leisurely, intensely lyrical intepretation. One of the most convincing and satisfying I've ever heard, -- and I have heard DOZENS of splendid renditions of this most difficult piece. But isn't the SOUND, itself, rather bizarre? It seems at times to be almost like that of a WIND instrument. Doesn't deter enjoyent of the great beauty and depth of this performance, however.

One of the most perfect and lyrical versions of Chopin's 4th ballade the op 52 in F minor also for the note played not fortissimo as many intrepreti and not "forte" (f), as indicated in the score of the Urterxt Edition of the Chopinian Ballades, the one that at the beginning miss. 211 introduces the tail, "a unicum" of Ginzburg's own: which gives shivers on the back and which seems to emerge - like a shadow - from the abyss . "The most poetic performance of this wonderful piece".
