Like the aristocratic Chopin himself, Ginzburg never insists and if anything underplays here, seeming to be thinking out loud, though the structure is rock solid for all its filigree. For a more vital and variegated performance drink in his Op. 25 Etudes. Incomparable. As always, thanks.
BRAVOI! Superb leisurely, intensely lyrical intepretation. One of the most convincing and satisfying I've ever heard, -- and I have heard DOZENS of splendid renditions of this most difficult piece. But isn't the SOUND, itself, rather bizarre? It seems at times to be almost like that of a WIND instrument. Doesn't deter enjoyent of the great beauty and depth of this performance, however.

il piu' grande di tutti i tempi
Se esistesse ( e non esiste) il più grande pianista della Storia tutti i miei sospetti cadrebbero su Grigory Ginsburg
