In spite of the fact that I prefer Cortot's interpretation over all, here Neuhaus shines as a precious gem. Sad that nowadays young pianists seem to have forgotten this kind of great lessons...

I can never seem to tell whether Krystian Zimmerman is part of the old generation of old pianists or new pianists, but I believe, without a shadow of a doubt, his rendition of all the ballades, let alone the fourth, are all absolutely fabulous. And in fact he is my inspiration and at 15 I decided that by 30 I wanted to have learnt all the Ballades and 9 months later I’ve learnt the first Ballade, but this one will definitely be the most challenging. I wish you a good day Adriano, and sorry I went off on a tangent, beautiful music makes me do that sometimes 😆.

It's also disrespectful to the artistry of both Chopin and Stanislav Neuhaus. I dread hearing the rest, fearing that another ad awaits at some other inopportune moment.
