  • This was created for the Artist Demo Days facebook page for my week of curation. My theme for the week is how to sidestep the creative block. I will give you a few ideas to allow you to 'play' and have some fun. This was my first offering, of how to allow a painting to paint itself.
    The Brusho I was using can be found here amzn.to/3RooW5G
    The Fude nib pen is here amzn.to/3EKs4B9
    The Shin Han watercolours I use can be purchased from Jacksons. There is a starter set here amzn.to/3roq4LY I am not sponsored by Jacksons, or any other company.
    Please subscribe, and click the like. Much appreciated. #lovepainting #creativeblock #lovemyjob
    Don't forget to subscribe. Thank you.

    I used to say that I was nothing but the medium of exchange between my paper and brush. This takes the notion to a level everyone should love because an observer of an art work always does his own creation between the eyes and the art. It’s why they love it, because they create too in the process. Great stuff.

    I’ve just dove into the abstract world after painting bordering on hyper realistic for years. It just stopped feeding my soul. This was a perfect foray into this new mystical and magical world. Thank you, Denise, for sharing your immense talents. I happen to have a fude pen, but never really knew what to do with it. Well, I sure do now! 😜

    That`s so very beautiful, thank you for sharing this technique and commenting so well on every step and stage! The technique in a beautiful way tansports that light and airy feeling when walking through such a landscape, maybe in late spring or at end of summer.
    I am looking for a technique that would fit a cover of a novel, half of it italian renaissance setting, mostly in the country. Well, that would fit nicely, what an inspíration, and, as you say: There`s not much you can do so very wrong, just try out and play with it! 😀

    Another brilliant video! And your brain isn't strange, it is beautifully creative! Thanks for providing a wonderfully fun way to get "unstuck!" I just purchased a fude nibbed fountain pen and am going to now go and paint the Dog Rose watercolor from your video using my Pebeo Mirror Effect Leaves and Mixation Relief! Sincere thanks for getting this artist going again after a couple of weeks utterly "stuck!" xxx

    • @artydenise
      @artydenise  7 месяцев назад +1

      This pen needs cartridges. I use quink ink which is not waterproof. I live it when it washes out a bit too.

    • @artydenise

      The pen is a fountain pen. I am using black quink. The unusual part is the nib which is a Fude nib. You can get them on Amazon. Have fun playing.
