A little-known fact about Moses Hull is that the spiritualist who he debated, in October 1862, before joining the spiritualists himself, William F. Jamison (1837-1928), of Albion, Michigan, had traveled the region with another spiritualist John S. Brown (1815-1884), who was the physician who examined Ellen White in Parkville, Michigan, on January 12, 1861, when she had her vision about the coming Civil War in America.
These videos are really good man. And the stories you pick are also really good. I love that you involve the Spirit of Prophecy also. Keep up the good work. May God bless and keep you🙏🏾❤
I remember my grandmother telling me about her mother being a spiritualist before she became a Seventh-day Adventist. She held seances at times and my grandmother told me her mother (my great-grandmother) had caused the table to rise up off the floor during at least one of them. Thank the Lord she got away from that darkness and joined the Seventh-day Adventist movement. My great-grandmother died when I was seventeen (1978) at the age of 101. I became a Seventh-day Adventist in June 1983, about two and a half months before getting out of the US Navy. May both my grandmother and great-grandmother rest in peace.
Spiritists had a 100 year reunion of the Fox sisters rapping as the beginning modern spiritism. They championed Moses Hull for doing more to advance the cause of spiritism.
Mmmm.... this story reminds me of the verse: "Let him that thinketh he stand take heed, lest he fall." We need to rely upon God and not trust in our own intellect and strength
This video could be much improved if it were narrated by a real person. Nevertheless, thank you for making it. Can I ask about the music? Where did you source it from and did you have any problems with RUclips and copyright claims? The last video I did, I had some flute playing that was recorded by a friend of mine. RUclips marked it as copyrighted material 😡
Appreciate it. Got it from this youtube channel pretty much, and they say it's free to use in their video description, so maybe that has something to do with it. :ruclips.net/video/FIVDxILrl5Y/видео.html
Wow! That's a stark reminder to not tread in certain places.
Tell me about it!
