Change is ultimate truth of this universe... everything will be changed over time... people who are complaining about modern era..let me tell you, after 40-50 years.. everything will be changed and you will miss this modern era as the golden era...so whatever you have, be happy with that and live in the present !! Otherwise you will have depression over time (from my experience)

I was five years in the year 1958. I still remember the wonderful carefree life. I can picture the tongas, we used to go to school in them. They were called Victorias if im right in the city. The barbers would come with their litle tin boxes and sit in the compound. I do remember the steel trunks. The knife sharpening guys are still around. There used to be these monkey shows. Guys cycling for four to five days at a stretch. Those wete the golden days. Will never get it back. But things have changed but its still fine if we want to make it fine and look at the brighter side of life. Wr lived in Kurla at that time.

yeah that's why back in 50s and 60s india was suffering from food shortage and half of India's population was starving like hell!! and that's why india's life expectancy at that time was not even 50 yrs and today india is world's largest food producer and india has a lofe expectancy of 70 yrs now u guys are true those days were way better than it is, today🙂🙂 living in the fears of underworld would have been such a fun....we are so unfortunate that mumbai now doesn't have any underworld for now 🙂🙂

@@yogeshmishra8867 those were initial days of the post independence era. You have to take that into account.
Life expectancy depends upon nutrition and health services. Food production is notional. Largest foodgrain producer still has to look to other avenues for supply of essential commodities. But there is hope still.
The salient point is that life was simple and uncomplicated, which is established without any doubt.

I admit, those days, there was not as much pollution as there is in today's times but, alot of things are vice versa too.
