I am fortunate to have experienced, as a child, the Tram and double decker bus travels, the Horse cart( called Victoria गाड़ी in those days), and to have lived in Fort, Bombay (we called it Mumbai then, too) and in various suburbs of Mumbai. Nostalgic memories of the old South Mumbai !

No one in the the video is overweight or obese because people did not sit long on computers as there were no computers and social media crap then and people believed in being active , ate limited as food was limited then. Recreation was by just going out of the house spending time in open like public gardens and played real physical sports. Medicine was only taken when necessary in worst cases. Otherwise grandmother's remedies worked.

I was in Bombay in 1949 while immigrating to Pakistan. Bombay was great and remains great till this day. Next I called in Bombay as merchant Mariner in 1964. Bombay remained great and beautiful.and will always remain great and beautiful.

Those areas of Marine Drive, Victoria Terminus (now CST), Princess St, where my Dad had took me in the Tram or the BEST Double Deck Bus..which continues even until now! (Only ticket price varies- from 10 Paise to 25 Rupees)!

मुझे एक बात समझ में नहीं आती। लोग अपने सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए मुंबई चले आते हैं। पर मुंबई का पुरा वातावरण -- माहौल (Atmosphere) देखकर मन में एक सवाल हमेशा से ही निर्माण होता हैं। मुंबई में वाहतूक (Traffic Pollution) प्रदुषण की ज्यादा समस्या हैं. तो कभी बारिश के महिनों में जो गटर का पानी होता है, वो रास्तों पर फैलता हैं। उस से लोगों को कितनी-कितनी मुसीबतों का सामना करना पड़ता हैं। उनकी सेहत Health पर बुरा असर पड़ता है। पर इस के बावजूद भी यह शहर रुकने नाम हीं नहीं लेता। पर फिर भी लोग सब कुछ सहन कर के इस शहर में खुशी खुशी रहते हैं। चाहें कुछ भी हो जाएं। आज़ की जो नई पीढ़ी हैं, वो मुंबई के बारे में कुछ जानती हीं नहीं हैं। मुंबई शहर महाराष्ट्र की राजधानी Capital City हैं। मुंबई शहर महाराष्ट्र में ही रहना चाहिए। इस के लिए १०५ हुतात्माओं ने शहिदों ने अपने प्राणों का बलिदान दिया था, संयुक्त महाराष्ट्र के आंदोलन में। मुंबई उस वक्त केंद्रशासित प्रदेश होता, या फिर गुजरात में चला जाता। कहीं यों ने इस के लिए जेल जाने की सज़ा भुगत ली। पर आज हम लोग इस सच को भुलाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। मुंबई को अमराठी लोग यानी Non -- Maharashtraian लोग Bombay कहकर पुकारते हैं, तो बहुत बुरा लगता हैं।😮😮😊😊 शनिवार २२ एप्रिल २०२३ रात्रीचे ८:५३/५४ मिनिटं झालेले आहेत.😊😊
