Tiny camper with shower + toilet. Randger R530

- This tiny camper with shower and toilet is the Randger R530 which looks just like the equivalent camper from Karmann Mobil. This should not be a surprise as both companies are owned by Trigano. The Randger R530 uses the Ford Transit Custom which appears to be all the rage these days, presumably because of the success of Ford in producing this van in Covid times.
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
In my RUclips channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Dreamer, Itineo, Rapido, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Karmann Mobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Bocklet, Woelcke,Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Murvi, Bliss, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow, Holzmobil, Giotti Line, Florium, Fleurette, Ahorn, Westfalia, Space Camper, Orange Work, Concorde, Womondo, Protec, Auto Sleeper, Dethleffs, Ilusion, Gehocab, Malibu, Pilote, Wild Ax, Vantage, Bresler, Tom's Fahrzeugtechnik, Morelo, Swift, Carado and others.
I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

I am in America and I said once and I’ll say it again European Have the best looking camper vans.
Without question!
I totally appreciate the commentators opinion on the need and design of toilets in camper vans. They are more important than a kitchen because eating out, or cooking outside is surely why campers are campers.
Quite right Hennes. A kitchen is a nice little extra but we need to get rid of food more frequently than we eat!
These tiny car / vans wouldn’t be a problem if you only go to warm and sunny places and use the outdoors for your living area and the tent bed in the roof is warm enough. In a typical British climate, I can’t imagine 4 people staying inside the van for any length of time without going stir crazy.
100% correct, I have had 3 different campers in the last 40 yrs as well as motorhomes and caravans, always find a motorhome more practical than a camper especially in the UK
But they are perfect for single people like me who wants to be able to drive and park close to a normal car.
But if staying inside the van for any length of time, you may was well stay at home...
How would you even change places or move about with that many bodies inside?
These are really nice. I haven't seen these types of campers in the U.S. yet. The benefit of the pop-top is that it will fit in a typical residential garage; the high-roof campers will not.
In the UK most people can’t even fit a family sized car in their garage, nevermind a campervan.
They all look beautiful. They're cozy & look fun to travel in. If only I was rich I would get a bigger one w/ a little more space. I would design my own style. I.e. Not good to have a sink close to the burners. Most of all I wouldn't allow cooking in the vehicle. Just boil, steam, & microwave.
Wish this model is available in Canada. It's perfect for everyday drive, and campervan. It fits into a typical garage (height limit 2.1m) perfectly, is small/agile to drive and park in cities, and most importantly has a toilet/shower. Most small campervans I've seen would rather have a kitchen galley instead of a toilet/shower combo and I've always found it odd - I can easily set up a cooking station anywhere (i.e. in a park) but I can't do the same with toilet/shower. Of course this model has both - even better!
I love the tiny ones as long as its got a bathroom. Thank you for sharing 😘
Thanks Alan for another great review
The Randger 530 is a nive van but it doesn't seem to have much storage especially for bedding ie sleeping bags and bulkt items
nice van though especially having the toilet on board 👌
That is a good point Sean! Anything small is going to have this problem! I sleep on my bedding, so as it gets colder I go deeper and deeper!
The last one for sure had the best lay out like you said.
I wish you had made a detailed tour of the van you mentioned as your favorite, the one with ladder, massive kitchen and toilet. That really looked good.
I have done it - it is here : ruclips.net/video/fieaOiCIE04/видео.html
Wonderfully designed. A perfect vehicle for a travelling sales rep. Love it !
Good point Mike!
Love to have one of those R530s. Ford is a reliable brand. Great Video!
I hope we get this in the U.S.
Whoa. Nice. Need these in Canada!
Try to use it in winter, and where will you stash your gear?
MAGIC RV
Beautiful van! Thank you for sharing! Toilet is a must!
Thanks for watching Jill!
Pretty amazing. I agree with the notion that a toilet is important. People are dreaming of vanlife parking the rig anywhere they want without paying campground fees. It is getting so popular now with some free camping spots overrun. If everyone goes into the bushes... ugh.
I would not want to cook in the kitchen inside unless necessary due to bad weather. You have to deal with the smells and splashes. Much better to bring a portable stove and folding table to set up outside. A sink is definitely nice to have though.
There is such a variety in European vans, in the US we get none of that. You have to do very expensive conversions if you want to keep your mobile small enough to garage.
Love it great for Florida and day camping.
Yes indeed!
WONDERFUL RV. I LOVE RV.
Love it,,, Looks like a normal van like hotel
Yeah i like the last one allan small but enough for four 🌞👍
Maybe those sliding lavatories just need a bit of a re-design somewhere? The idea itself seems quite a sensible one. Another fab video, thanks Alan. Have a Merry Christmas!
Happy holidays to you too!
That one seems nicer that the Malibu swivelling one: super complex.
Another trick is if the builder vents the cassette area to the outside.. few realise that those cassettes, once inserted, have a permanently open vent on them... something Thetford should really address, it's a lazy design.
Is it better to sleep upstairs, in the van or downstairs? In hot or cold climates? Oops * the live is over. Ja ja
It would work great for me. All I'd have to do is go to Europe.
I don’t understand why these show up on you tube usa, no interest in products not available here, just click bait
very clever toilit space allan
I would prefer this in an electric version.
This is awesome! Thanks 😊
Glad you like it!
GREAT JOB
That raised roof pretty much rules out winter camping or traveling unless only the lower features are used.
Where do you put your clothes? Very little storage… the best one had a long kitchen countertop.
In that case Alicia you get a bigger van.
@@VanlifewithAlan for that much money there should be a place for your clothes.
So good it is not for sale in US. No entertainment, no roof ac, no generator
Lack of AC is the worst part for me.
What the piont of turning the front chairs around no table and your on top of the bench chairs to crammed
Can park it any where, love it
I liked the first and the third van you showed. Wasn't to pleased on the design of the second van. $50,000 dollars is cheap considering a Escalade can cost up to $70, and you get none of those features.
They should sell these in the U.S. because U know how there was a 27 hour traffic jam on the I-95 into Washington if my husband had to do the same commute I would tell him to but a van like this rather than just a car and if a snow storm he can just camp on the road for the night.
Too much emphasis on the toilet/shower for me. Makes all else seem too tight. I tried buying one new here in England this year.
But whatever deal there was with importing them, from France is now non existent. But the last price in the Summer was much less then.
That is the way it is with all RVs now - hard to get, delivery who knows and price pick a number.
was that a huge gap between the tent and the van roof we could see through? seems like a design flaw in the windy rainy uk
scratch that, just reflections!
Can expect much toilet for that size of ban,, maybe
But there are those that have them in this size!
@@VanlifewithAlan ITS good to know that
The Citroen Vario is cheaper by €9000 and better quality
Yup
I need 7 seat belts
What is the name and specs of the last van you referred to as your favorite layout as well as mine please thanks
Hi Alan, there are more differences between the Transit Custom and the Tourneo Custom than the seats. ;) Tourneo is more luxurious! -1 Tourneo has 2 sliding doors -2 it's quieter inside a Tourneo -3 more luxurious cockpit -4 Extra storage near shift in Tourneo -5 .......The Transit Kombi has also more than the two front seats. ;) One source: ruclips.net/video/-Mue9COTAq0/видео.html
Time to do your (camper-) home work ;)

Hi Alan, I just have stopped changing the text :)
-1 Transit
-2 Transit Kombi
-3 Tourneo
Stop criticizing pop tops. People in the us like these because it fits in the garage you can't park a tall vehicle at your house because of most homeowners association which means pay to park it somewhere else. Be informed before commenting.
I have mentioned that several times in the past, however I am not going to say the same thing in every video.
Hello, I am in USA
If I wanted buy this van
How can I order this van?
Alan, what’s the name and model of your favorite campervan €66,510?
I think you are asking if I had EUR66,510 what campervan would I get with the money? I would get a high roof Mercedes and then build it myself although for that money I might not be able to complete it. Maybe in that case I would get an Affinity although that costs a bit more, although as they know me, they might give me a discount.
The video could have shown the exteriors more and always a gloss over on make and model, that should be the first thing you say and the last thing
Thanks for yet another great little film. You take me to fares and salons I’d so much like to visit myself and you take me there :-)
Do these camper cars have any insulation? If so how and what?
Every van I show, or rather every new van, has insulation. The types of insulation vary and sometimes I say in the videos what type it is. Mind you, in winter, this vehicle would be cold.
Am I family? Family feud TV show? Do this camper vans fit in as family of the camper vans industry? Made by the planet of the apes
Bring to America 🇺🇸.
Sweet hi Alan
58 thousand euros? you can buy a small plane, get your private license, fly anywhere in the US for week for that kind of money!! lol
Let me know where a small plane can be purchased for that price.
Just buy a half decent van and get it professionally converted and save yourself astronomical amounts of money!!!
You said kitchen is not important, you are wrong, young man. 👎👎.
So you think a kitchen is more important than a toilet?
Muy caras 👂👂🍅🍅
the camper looks great. I good not finish watching the video, because the voice of the man is very irritating . not suitable for explaining a camper
Obviously it is not suitable for explaining a camper. That is why I only have 75k subscribers and around 1m views per month.
Why aren’t you telling us the names of the brands while you look. And some not even looked in?? Bad video
Clearly you weren't listening. Not only do I very clearly say the name of the brand, it is written in both the title and description. Where else would you expect it?
Buy a used Ferrari and Caravan.
this stupid van cost 40,000 euros ? wtf ?
wait this is the newest model and it cost 60,000 euros ????!!!! lmao, what a waste of money
What a crap presentation. Stuttering commentary.
Then don't watch then. Clear off and don't come back!
