Haha I’ve seen this, I got you bro 😂 no you don’t need to purchase smart mechanic, however you will need the yearly subscription to get all the other benefits for your car. Plus you can then also code your car. Smart mechanic is effectively a very detailed summary of the issues you have on your car and it will tell you how to fix it. Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
Sorry for the late reply. I’ve never tried it. Maybe just keep the car off but the ignition on just in case. New code as well “Bobbydrives” for 15% if you’re looking to buy one 👍🏼
Thanks bro for subbing ❤️ I look forward to seeing what you can do on the M3 with the Carly adapter. Likewise bro, you’ve got some nice content and keep it up 💯
Hey Bobby I liked your video on Carly & I'm really thinking about buying one.... I saw you were saying that there's a section that shows you if any parts on the car are from another Vin number.... well I buy parts off ebay & they'll have other vins on them so does this make my e63 worth less? I was also wondering, I'm bout to install a used/new adaptive headlight control module from ebay & it may possibly need to be coded. How would I use Carly to do this? Thanks a lot in advance man. Very helpful video! 👌🏾
Hey Joseph, I just replied to your other message. However on parts, it may show up that a part has been changed or the number does not match. But that’s ok as you know what you have changed. From a resale point of view, I’d suggest informing the potential buyer of this info and you should be fine 👍🏼
• UPDATE: please use code “Bobbydrives” for 15% off •
I hope you see this!!! I’m trying to access used car check do I have to unlock smart mechanic to access it?

Hey Bobby nice video. Do you know if there is any down side to coding something while the engine is on. Obviously not driving

@@BobbyDrives thank you! I just double checked and they only offers the basics for dodge right now so I don’t have access to used car checks yet
Ahh that’s a shame bro. Just keep an eye out, they’re always updating the adapters for more cars ✌🏼
