locals would love the quiet of electric motors on their lakes and rivers! The loud gas motors are disturbing everyone and the environment as well!

This will be perfect for Venice, Italy. I saw plenty of gas slicks in the water there.

For a small boat yes it's feasible... anything over 24 is dead in the water. Unless they start putting chargers in the water

Well I've been watching videos for the last few years of multi hulls on Nautistyles and other places. Some with solar some without. They are long AND wide, annnnnnnd expensive.

I would love to know the single-charge range of this boat at planing speed. It might be good enough to get to a favorite fishing hole or beach, but I doubt it would do for a few hours of water skiing.

It looks like the boat uses two battery packs. My Tesla Model 3 uses one battery pack and gets over 230 miles of range on a single charge. I wish Tesla would buy them out and launch the Tesla Motorcraft. It's basically a Tesla car without wheels.

The motor and batteries would have to be completely dry. Are those compartments water tight? Would have to be ridiculously cheaper.

Sadly, the peace and quiet isn't what most boat bros are looking for.

electric boats don't make any sense, the cost of electricity and the price of gas is almost the same

He can probably bypass the power company's meter and steal his electricity.

Unless you can steal it. With a lot of receptacles around, its easier to steal.
