Where did you find that info?
There's a reason why Candela hides almost all of its technical data, battery sizes, consumption figures, everything. No transparency, no honesty in their stated figures. And of course no disclosure about what happens when the battery overheats when traveling for a long time in hot hot weather, or the consumption for heating the battery in cold weather.
Anyway, pretty impossible to have a conversation here on advertising-tube where advertisers determine what we can say here and RUclips shadowbans most comments. No open exchange of ideas on a platform like this where they hide your comments from everyone!

Those people with these smaller boats if asked how far they travel when out on their boats I bet it’s less than 20 miles for most of them. Remember if you want to go hundreds of miles on your boat buy one that runs on Diesel.

Actually, it reminds me of taking my one and only hydrofoil trip. In the 1970’s, between the Hawaiian Islands, there was an inter-island ferry service using the Boeing 929 Jetfoil Hydrofoil. They used gas turbines to power them.

And then you need to separate all the other super-expensive stuff in addition to the foiling which gives it good efficiency like the fully carbon fibre construction.

It does not have an innate right to keep burning stuff when every other transport segment has gone combustion free. There is no reason now why cat D and C boats are not electric already. the waves need to be smaller than the lift out the water is.
as soon as the waves are higher you cant really use the hydrofoils anymore without constantly slamming hard into waves.
