I have her danlos syndrome and my patella has definitely dislocated to the inside 😭 thankfully it's always easy to fix

Hi Doctor, I’ve had two knee subluxations both from contact during sports 15 years apart. This has led to a maltracking patella which is being managed semi-effectively through conservative treatment.
I have trochlear dysplasia and patella alta that are predisposing factors.
Can I get away with adjusting my activities and continuing strengthening the VMO or is a TTO + MPFL reconstruction required? I am 30 years old.
