MSI GS75 will be the thinnest and first 17" GTX in Jan. Area 51 has no gaurantee that nvidia will bring out a compatible upgrade beyond 2080, so why not just get a 2080 ?
The big thing for me at CES 2019 was the Alienware Area 51m. I wish Tekthing would ask Dell for a review unit of that laptop. You can upgrade all the components. Talk about future proofing.
I think I could live with a hole in the screen for a small webcam. Kind of like the phones that are coming out. Speaking of which, why don't they put cell phone cameras in laptops. My front facing note 9 camera is tiny and can record 4k 30fps.
Had the same thought for ages, why not use phone sensors rather than the crap that often is installed... Then again, I have piece of electrical tape over my cameras anyway 😂
If memory serves the "Z" or depth of the cell phone cameras is way thicker than the lids on a laptop could take. Also, those high quality cell phone cameras are -expensive- by comparison.
"We predicted there would be a 2060!".......Like the 560, 760, 960, & 1060 didn't already give everyone that impression? C'mon now...anything to Trumpet "Predicting"
Just as with the 3D TVs that were a complete waste of time, I don't see a reason for TVs that can roll up into a box or a TV that will let the wall it's hanging on show through.
It's for folks living in small spaces, or that find a big empty black 65" screen just sitting there kinda irritating. Yes, you could display art or something, ala Samsung's The Frame TV, but that's a lot of electricity to burn! -Patrick
Those prices..are Dead..you will never see those prices again, $100 more..is the new Normal...it sucks but here we are. All those Miners and people desperate for a GPU no matter the cost last year or two ...those people who Bought GPU's at the new prices demonstrated that if You raise the Price by $100 bucks people will STILL buy....so here we are...>
@@Tekthing That is not how it works, the 1070 starts from $300 on new egg right now. Normally with every new generation u should have MORE performance but at the SAME price fromt the last generation. This is what evolution in technology should be. Did all the tech industry journalists got brainwashed or bought by Nvidia these days?
@Almir Preldzic yeah buddy, they forgot what evolution of technology means and that u should have more performance with each new generation at the same price from the last generation.
Why does it irk me that Shannon's audio is on the right when Patrick is on the right?
I know.
I'm really excited for Ryzen 3000! Great coverage this year guys!
Thanks so much, we can't wait to see the 3000, either!

Great info on CES 2019
Thanks!
Dell sponsored the video but he's using a thinkpad. lmao.
Been eagerly awaiting your take on all the things at CES! Thanks for suffering for us!
Thanks for watching!!!
New subscriber here. And only subscribed because of that sweet girl who made her Alienware looks like a Disneyland or wonderland type of laptop!
I kind of want the area 51m but I wonder what the temp is going to be like but idk if mess with the dual power supply.
Ask us after we've gotten a few hours quality time with it in testing!
Anyone know about the price and date of the new dell inspiron 14 2 in 1 with ryzen 3500u?
9:40 Are they saying that the 3rd gen AMD Ryzen CPUs can be compatible with any motherboard?

A lot of talk and impressions on the Internet with this LG Signature OLED TV that we will not usually afford :)
We're reaaaaaal curious to see what the price will be. It as amazingly nifty to watch roll up and down! -Patrick

We've already asked. Both of us. :)
@@Tekthing Thank you Patrick for asking DELL on our behalf. You and Shannon are the best. THANKS.
sound is flip right to left
I think the LG rollable tv is good for 50000 times up and down.

@@Tekthing Maybe they can make a camera bump like on cell phones and counter sink the palm rest. Just don't get any crumbs in that counter sink.
Patrick's audio (or lack thereof) was very distracting.

I think they meant the RTX part. I have heard a lot of people saying it was going to be a GTX with no ray tracing.

Well, we were right on the price and announcement at CES too, if that helps.

@@Tekthing Sounds like a good replacement to in home projectors.
Shannon is such a hottie! Smart, loves tech and genuinely attractive. Subscribed! Oh yeah, nice video coverage of CES 2019, I enjoyed it.
great...hype about a screen that "goes up"....geezes christ. Does it rotate or tilt like my wall mount? Thought not!
No. It disappears into a box! (Kinda like my 100" projection screen, now that I think about it... but that's not as much fun to watch.) -Patrick

sorry, u are wrong, the 2060 is overpriced. it should be maximum $300
Compared to a $499 MSRP for a 2070, $349 seems like a bargain. How about this, let's tell NVIDIA they should tell it for $200! -Patrick
