I’ve been thinking about grabbing these to try with my 100 deluxe. Sound awesome. Question, do you notice a big difference using the Suhr RL vs the captor x? I’ve got a captor x and have been wondering how the Suhr would compare to it
Unfortunately I have no experience with the Captor X, but I did use the Torpedo Live before getting the Suhr. I know for a fact that the load in the Suhr (4x12 w/Greenbacks) is more accurate than the Two Notes one, especially in the low curve/peak. Doesn't mean you can't get great sounds out of the Two Notes stuff, but I believe the Suhr load is safer for the amp. Sound wise I don't think one is necessarily better than the other, it really comes down to personal preference!

Both are great, if I really had to choose I'd go with GGD just because every cab pack they've put out has been impeccable. The WOS stuff can be a bit of a hit or miss in my experience, having said that I really like the Dave Friedman, Michael Nielsen and Pete Thorn's packs, I use those regularly!
One of the best guitar players out there. He should be touring with a band and getting international recognition.

@@NILOCOgov rhythms were recorded using the BE channel, presence at 6, thump at 4, bass 10, mids 6.5, treble 6, with the gain at about 8!

It sounds great! In addition to Cali, the Goldstack is also worth the money. What drum did you use? That sounds good too. VSTi?
