  • Billy Connolly is heading into Texas, where he visits the ghost town of Glenrio and Devil's Rope Museum. In Los Alamos, New Mexico, he meets two men who helped create the atomic bomb and attends a rodeo in Arizona. Driving off-route, Billy ends the episode in Monument Valley, where he talks to a Navajo medicine man.

I am thrilled to see Billy Connolly in such great spirits in this recent video. Having heard reports of his health struggles, seeing him up and about like this is truly inspiring. Of course his portfolio of work is great. I'll never forget his intricate performance in the X-Files, where he brought a multidimensional character to life with his brilliant acting skills. This is all a testament to his resilience and strength of character that he continues to thrive, despite any obstacles he may have faced. Billy Connolly is a true acting icon and an inspiration.

I’m glad you got to ride it. At least you did it on a trike where you out in the open and REALLY feel the Mother Road. I rode it and hundreds of others before the Interstate system really took over., Every region was completely different and even the accents were totally different. With the spread of TV over the last 50 years people have moved and melded and the language morphed to more like tv. Watch the old TV series Route 66 as it was filmed all over and you can see and hear the differences,.
Glad you got to experience our wonderful country.

Oppenheimer wasn't happy when it worked, he knew the consequences of it. And although Feinman got his old bongos out to celebrate, he was hit by a huge depression afterwards, and felt as though there was no point in creating anything new, anymore.
People wanted to end the war, nobody really wanted the suffering it would bring. (and yet it saved millions of people's lives, because the Japanese would never surrender on a land conflict. They even refused to accept defeat after the first nuclear bomb was detonated).
