As someone who used to lived around an hour or two away from the Redwood Forest, I can confirm how accurate this is. Mainly with the amount of trees which is my main problem with the OG set. The redwoods have tons of huge trees, and the set has 2 tiny trees

The 4+ AT-ST really works. Gives some “forced perspective” that it’s further away. Never thought I’d want those but at 50% we grabbed a few too!

Ryan, I think you did a great job on this! If someone didn't already know it was the same set, it would easily pass as a parts bin moc. I agree about the AT ST. It's not the best looking but it fits perfectly in the build.

You could also like disassemble parts of the front, and like scatter them around and in front of the tree.
Im gonna boy two of these sets so I can make my own version, more compact and like extremely detail focused.
Already gathers a few pieces for the trees and brown hinges for the flames.

Yo mandr I was at target today and I saw some august sets were out with the star wars mechs and the Ashoka battlepack, and Yoda's starfoghter
Now do this with the Dagobah set so you can rip your hair out placing down the swamp
I did a similar MOC but much smaller. This size looks awesome too.
Ryan, you should do a mega expansion of the Death Star throne rooms and essentially make a larger version of the play set Death Star final duel set by buying 3 of them and buying a fourth to connect them

A really big extension of the new Yavin 4 rebelbase would be nice. You can add a lot of vehicles and minifigs to it.
The audio has been so good recently that I’ve been tricked into thinking these are being completely voiced over multiple times.
Some of it is voiced over. It varies.

When the new ghost comes out, you should try and see if you can build the phantom 1 using an extra copy of the set, or even just the pieces that create the Phantom 2

Wow, this is amazing. I wanted to love this set but still can't bring myself to buy one, and no way am I buying that many, so I'll just enjoy this. Yavin 4 Base is the next one I want to see. Less disappointing because of the figures, but it needs to be improved still.

I do think the trees look fine but you should have made different designs to add some variety.
they actually look good spread out. Maybe varying the heights of the trees would be better but it does work really well spread out like that. FINISH THAT HOTH MOC RYAN lol.

you should add a to scale model of the Millennium Falcon to your trench run build. Have it kind of swooping into the trench like in the movie.
