- The NEW LEGO Star Wars 2022 Boba Fett's Throne Room is VERY disappointing to many. 2012's 9516 Jabba's Palace was definitely better, but it costs way to much money on eBay now. What if you could buy 2 LEGO 75326 Boba Fett's Throne Room's to create one massive LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett's Palace? I put it to the test and created an Alternate Build for the LEGO Boba Fett's Throne Room set!

You honestly make the boba fett throne room my fan favourite after this build,its accurate and cool,and unique and contain everything,we should get more episodes like this

I really didn't mind the default set because I'd rather display the set with the mini fig side, but that expansion looks incredible. Idk if I'll do it myself because it looks like a lot to figure out but it's definitely something to consider
Ikr, if I'm paying for a set with minfigs I like to at least see them on my shelf
I did displayed my Vader’s castle backwards as I liked all the little scenes more than the front.
Like I has said the sets name is "Throne room" not palace

About a month ago I got a great deal on Mercari for the 2012 jabbas palace, rancor pit, and sail barge used, all for $450

Obviously mine is still the better throne room. My dad added a shark tank to the place before he passed which means I get to eject whoever I want down a trap door to feed my pets

The fact that your build looks so much accurate than the original one make sense why its become my fan favourite so easily,i hope for more episodes like this but with minifigs etc.....

Ryan when he realizes buying another Throne Room to combine the two means he gets to sell the minifigs and make profit:

Seriously, doing this is such a big brain move for less money
Also if you have a Costco membership it's only $80
@@calvincngo so that's $170 with sales tax, - maybe $50 for figures sold, so $120, add $30 for specialized pieces from bricklink.... and for $150 total, you have possibly a better palace than the $400 version.
Quick question: instead of trying to duplicate 2012, have you thought about using both sets to build the rest of the palace itself? Looks like you have enough to finish the hanger, etc. Great build and video!!

This is a great repair. I can’t wait to see what other people do. People do some great things to these sets
You’ve inspired me to try something. I buy these sets for my son to play with and it always bugged me that you have to spin it around if you want to display the building and the spin it around again if you want to play inside the throne room. I think I’m going to incorporate the door into the building and then have the wall on a hinge so that it can move out of the way to be able to play on the inside. Thanks for the inspiration.

I bet LEGO is going to release a companion set that makes a second floor to the 2022 set that will actually complete the roof portion, and make it the banta tank room from the show. They did the same thing with the 2012 set adding the Rancor pit companion set.
Honestly with the pieces given it looks fantastic

This is a cool idea. I did this with the 2020 AAT. Only I didn’t use two sets. For my video, I fixed the model using only pieces from the set itself.
Nice specs, G. Looking forward to seeing all the rebrickables. I’ll probably wait to get this at a nice discount, just display the throne part on an office shelf, and use the other parts to add to the Mos Eisley cantina display (currently sitting in pieces in a closet until my roommate moves out and I’ve renovated the garage).
They are $80 at Costco that's 20$ cheaper than retail.
@@brickbybricktogether no bad but I may wait to buy one used for $40-$50. Right now I just wish the Horizon Tall Neck set was out as I’d pay full price for that any day.

My brother had both Jabba's Palace and the Rancor Pit sets when we were kids. They were so damn awesome.
Do you think it would be worth it (since I have the 2012 version) to just take the throne out then using the rest of the parts of Boba’s throne room to make an expanded 2012 Palace? I think that could be neat. Then just having the extra throne on the side to switch out like the radar dishes on the UCS Falcon.

Just bought from Rebrickable a plan of this palace utilizing the 2022 set along with parts from the 2012 set + extras Its a very nice version of the palace and well worth looking at

The ultimate palace looks great! I'm definitely trying this when the set goes on sale for 80 equaling 160. I just did this with 2 trouble on tatooine sets turning 2 halves of tuskin raider teepees into one complete teepee, looks alot better if I say so myself
Did the same thing and we end up with a lot of stuff for decorations or useful pieces (finally did 2nd gunship doors thanks to the double left over) double sets combining should be a more common trend !
Some Costco warehouses have them for $80 already. I picked up two to do exactly what Ryan did here, but I intend to bricklink the tan ufo pieces.

I have the old jabbas palace, but sadly most of it is in pieces so I’m gonna build the new one and try fitting the roof and stuff from the guard tower onto the new one!

Looks awesome. Costco had this set on sale for $60 so I picked up two of them yesterday and am tempted to try this now.
A really good solution to a stupid problem. Lego doesn't need to freak out that the roof looks too much like a mosque.
