Nice work. Hermann would be proud!

I tend to use CSS for melodics only, as it sounds a bit too dark for my compositions. Other than that, it sounds really great, and I love it.

Yes; perhaps I could get more clarity if I mixed it.

Good stuff. I love CS. May I ask, do you ever have any trouble with stuck midi notes with Cinematic Studio? If so, how do you fix it? Also, how do you play multiple sustain notes at once? Even when I use the ensemble strings patch, I am only able to sound one note at a time. Simultaneous notes only work with ensemble staccato. Any suggestions?

Yes stuck notes that the bane of my life. I contacted support and it wasn't especially clear what the fix was - it seemed to be when I imported MIDI from Sibelius that the issues mostly arise. For multiple notes/chords, I'd switch off Legato - let me know if that works!

@@TomHarroldMusic Switch off legato worked! For all libraries! Thank you so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm taking a Berklee online Composition class to expand my skillset, and I like to go above and beyond by producing robust short compositions each week. This will save so much time in doing so!

    Great job.
I miss music like this in thrillers.
Nowadays it's braams here, braams there; swooshes, wooshes and other hybrid type stuff.
I feel like we need to go back to classic scoring. That hybrid stuff is starting to get tiresome;especially in movie trailers. Music like this brings alot more character.
Btw, did you use reverb or other processing on top of this? And what piano was that?

Thank you! Don’t get me wrong, I use electronics all the time, just wanted to try something a bit more intimate.
The piano is Steinway from EastWest. And I haven’t processed a single thing, not a single eq, compressor or reverb - these are all the raw sounds from the libraries. Pretty good, aren’t they?

Coming from predominantly spitfire/ mss. How would you compare the workflow with these? I’ve heard the latency can be an issue, is it only for the legato patch?

The delay is the worst thing about the library. When playing in with the keyboard, it is particularly difficult to be able to play in-time with the metronome as my ear is always hearing it late compared to beat; I spend A LOT of time fixing MIDI after inputting. Biggest issues is with the legato patches, indeed.

@ that’s a bummer. I really like the sound but $500 is also a lot of money when you’re just beginning in this field 😂 I wish the company did demos
