Sauce Money spoke to VladTV about being stuck at a label deal at Priority Records and not being able to release any music, so he paid his bills by writing for Diddy. He also spoke about ghostwriting for other artists that he wouldn't name and adding that he was paid $85,000 for one song. The topic led to a conversation about artists using ghostwriters and feeling like those artists can't be considered greats or geniuses. To hear more, hit the above clip.

This would've been a perfect opportunity to go more in depth about the business of ghostwriting. Example having to write in the studio during sessions to protect artist secret. Most ghostwriters get paid on front end and beat it. No backend money owed.

Why Sauce seem like he dont respect "Great ear" but great ears kept him paid. Producing and recognizing talent is a gift. Being able to propel and position talent is another level.
I don't know how anyone can consider Puffy a genius. He's a very good business man but all he really did was pimp out urban street culture to corporate entities that recognized it as an emerging market and where the youth were trending towards. Puff didn't really create anything other than develop relationships. People have to really stop attaching the word genius to someone's bank account. Drake isn't a genius either. With Kanye you can at least make an argument because he's overseen entire musical production projects and has switched up his sound multiple times even though he built off of others like RZA.
