I love a starwars episode!!!
Building a lightsaber is an absolute must!
Loved loved loved this episode! Rebels is the best animated series by far. Hera is mother lmao. I have to agree with Austin, Annie is my fave followed by the queen Ahsoka. Definitely adding building a lightsaber to our next trip agenda. May the fourth be with you! 🩵

I loved your podcast! I’m 47 years old, and my family saw episode four in the drive-in. My mom said I was very scared every time a ship would fly over like in the very beginning of the movie. I remember seeing episodes five and six in the theater for the first time. I had my blankie with me for episode 5. 😆 I was only 4 years old and I covered my head for every part when Darth Vader was there in the cloud city, especially in the frozen Carbonite room. I remember being sick to my stomach. I also got very sick to my stomach for episode six for the part with the rancor. I made my mom take me out for that part and she was kind of upset that she missed it. I did like the movie overall though. By the time I was about 10 or 11 I absolutely loved Star Wars and would watch the original movies over and over again.
You have almost convinced me to watch rebels, however, I was also someone who tried to watch clone wars, and fell asleep, and I don’t know if I can do it!!! You have to watch Andor! it is absolutely my favorite of all the television shows. I cannot get into the character of Asoka, but to be fair I hadn’t watched the cartoons. I liked Sabine and Hera though.
I love rise of the resistance ride, but I spoiled it by watching it seven times on RUclips so I’m sure I ruined the initial ride experience for myself, however, I cried every time I watched it online. I also love the whole look of galaxy’s edge. The first time we went, my husband wore a Chewbacca shirt and we ran into him. He made a fist with a hand and covered it over his heart like he appreciated my husband‘s loyalty and he got to get a picture with him. It was an awesome moment! I don’t love smugglers run as much, but it’s a much better experience if you’re a pilot. Oh, I had an amazing interaction when you are captured by the empire during rise of the resistance right before you go into an interrogation room. I was wearing a Star Wars shirt and he came up close to me looking at me very sternly. I asked him if it was because of my shirt and he said that I knew what it looked like. I said that I at least try to stay loyal to both sides. He said, “we’ll see“ it was awesome!

My honorable mention would be rise of Skywalker. My very favorite scene is where Rey is laying on the ground hearing all the Jedi voices come to her, and she keeps repeating “be with me“. I understand your tears, Katelyn! That part always makes me cry!! And I also love when she shares her sword through the force so he can fight.

My honorable mentions for these would be Kino Loy from Andor (love him!!) and also Grogu. Grogu was a character that I really was blown away by how much I cared about him. It reminded me of that when you were talking about caring about the rebels characters. I definitely think that Star Wars is not just for guys, but for girls. But I love my Star Wars men! 😂
