Nice video. My kid is 4 year old. Had all symptoms mentioned in video. Also, took ivig, but fever was still there ..so doctor gave steroids .after that fever gone ..steroids intake will be reduced slowly.. Question is after we stop steroids, will there b any side effect or mis c symptoms start again. We are too much worried about it. Already spent 6 lacs and can't afford further treatment
Don't worry, the good thing about this problem is that once it's cured then generally doesn't recur again. So, most likely when your kid will be off Steroids then no further treatment will be needed. All the best..😊👍

Most of the chest pain post Covid is non cardiac, so don't panic. Give some time to yourself, things will get better gradually Follow these steps: - Do have a healthy routine - Eat healthy and include fresh fruits in diet - Eat high fibre diet - Eat your dinner atleast 2 hours before sleeping - Walk for 20 min after eating food - Drink a lot of fluids - Do mild exercises - Add a good antacid if needed If pain persists then do an ECG and Consult your doctor
My kid is 2 year old, he have fever above 103 degree from last 5 days , all blood test taken but dr can't understand what happened with baby and doesn't know which medicine is works. Hello Doctor, My 1 year old daughter is suffering from MIS-C. She was admitted in a good pediatric hospital for 9 days where she was diagnosed with MIS-C. They gave her steroids for 5 days. During her treatment at the hospital we noticed that in gap of 2 days she is getting mild fever. Although we saw a huge improvement in the fever frequency. The Doctors said that the fever won’t completely go away and it would take sometime. He asked us to continue with the oral steroids and antibiotics. So we discharged her from the hospital. It’s been a day only, my daughter has got the fever twice (morning and night). Please suggest me what should be my next step.

Dear it's very hard for me to comment anything without examining your baby as there can be multiple causes for it. But if your baby is passing black stools means she is bleeding somewhere in her stomach or intestine, so needs immediate attention.

It's very unlikely that it's because of MISC. If the temperature is persistently more than 100 then get her properly assessed once and if it's less than 100 then it's normal.

Recover will depend on how your baby is responding to the treatment, which the treating doctor will be able to tell you. Secondly, no know long term complications

Dr. My son is 15 month old...he and my wife had covid in the month of May first week....now it's almost more then 4 month but 3 days back my son got sudden spike in temperature with fever around 103°f and got his eyes rolled upward and face turned blue and unconscious,we rushed him to fortis hospital. They tried all possible test but his fever was not coming down....finally after seeing few rashes in his legs doctor asked to get antibodies test which showed highly positive with value of 1200...initially we thought it must be febrile seizure but after two test of antibodies doctor confirmed it is mis-c and his lips and palm turned red and stiff..today his 2d echo test was done which showed water retention around his heart..now it's 4th day he is shifted to ICU and started with IVIG....DORTOR just want to know if the procedures are going right? Also the visiting doctor said since it's inital stage it will get better with IVIG and steroids won't be needed....?is that so...

He is absolutely fine now...don't think about side effects or anything...he is very fine like before and healthy....so u can go ahead with ivig and not to worry....I know how difficult it is....but believe me it's just matter of few days and life will be back to normal....and your son will be absolutely fine...sorry for delayed reply....actually I just saw it...and didn't get any notification...

Don't worry about the CRP, it will come down gradually. Any temperature less than 100 in not considered Fever in children so don't worry, things will get better soon.

Ok, don't worry. Just make sure she remains hydrated and the frequent urination or if she cries during urination then get her urine checked for Infection and treat accordingly.

At this point I can only reassure you and ask you not to worry. Don't worry too much about the CRP, hopefully baby had received IvIg and steroids for MIS-C treatment.

No need to worry, that's why I have made the video. Only one symptom or sign can be present in post Covid times. Only time to take urgent action is when all the criterias are met.

My 1year 4moth baby got this syndrome..she was admitted in hospital for 5 days...she got 3 IVIG Injection..now she is at home on medication for last two days... please doctor give me some suggestions how we care about her now?

You don't need to do anything extra, just the basic hygienic precautions and give good nutritious food and hydration.

Hello Doctor, My 1 year old daughter is suffering from MIS-C. She was admitted in a good pediatric hospital for 9 days where she was diagnosed with MIS-C. They gave her steroids for 5 days. During her treatment at the hospital we noticed that in gap of 2 days she is getting mild fever. Although we saw a huge improvement in the fever frequency. The Doctors said that the fever won’t completely go away and it would take sometime. He asked us to continue with the oral steroids and antibiotics. So we discharged her from the hospital. It’s been a day only, my daughter has got the fever twice (morning and night). Please suggest me what should be my next step.

Dear it's very hard for me to comment anything without examining your baby as there can be multiple causes for it.
But if your baby is passing black stools means she is bleeding somewhere in her stomach or intestine, so needs immediate attention.
Doctor when the situation is so much of life threatening for children then is it safe to send them to offline school plz guide as me as a parent is sending my son to school without any choice 😔
Dear I can understand your concern but it's an very tuff situation to be in. We need to understand that kids will have to go out at some point and not sending them to school will hinder with their development.

Most common cause is Anxiety. If all your reports are normal then you just need to relax, have a healthy diet and routine and drink a lot of fluids.

My baby CRP level before IVIG treatment is 7.6 mg/L after ivig all things is going good but after 1.5 months of IVIG treatment baby is again suffering from high grade fever and CRP level 23.4 mg/L

Can be because of other infections too. CRP is a very non specific marker. Get your baby checked by a pediatrician once.

Just give good nutritious diet and adequate hydration. Everything will return to normal in few days.

It's very unlikely that it's because of MISC. If the temperature is persistently more than 100 then get her properly assessed once and if it's less than 100 then it's normal.

Sir agar light symptoms hai aur child ko admit kar diya hai to kitne din me recover ho jata hai. Future me isse koi nuksaan to nahi hai.??
Recover will depend on how your baby is responding to the treatment, which the treating doctor will be able to tell you.

Dr. My son is 15 month old...he and my wife had covid in the month of May first week....now it's almost more then 4 month but 3 days back my son got sudden spike in temperature with fever around 103°f and got his eyes rolled upward and face turned blue and unconscious,we rushed him to fortis hospital. They tried all possible test but his fever was not coming down....finally after seeing few rashes in his legs doctor asked to get antibodies test which showed highly positive with value of 1200...initially we thought it must be febrile seizure but after two test of antibodies doctor confirmed it is mis-c and his lips and palm turned red and stiff..today his 2d echo test was done which showed water retention around his heart..now it's 4th day he is shifted to ICU and started with IVIG....DORTOR just want to know if the procedures are going right? Also the visiting doctor said since it's inital stage it will get better with IVIG and steroids won't be needed....?is that so...
Yes, IvIg is the drug of choice and MIS-C is completely treatment if identity early.

He is absolutely fine now...don't think about side effects or anything...he is very fine like before and healthy....so u can go ahead with ivig and not to worry....I know how difficult it is....but believe me it's just matter of few days and life will be back to normal....and your son will be absolutely fine...sorry for delayed reply....actually I just saw it...and didn't get any notification...

Sir before I got to know I was infected with corona I mixed-up with kids and husband as I didn't know at that time and had mild infection. Is it possible that they also got infected. My baby is 3yr n his pulse on oximeter is 142 n baby is absolutely fine we just bought oximeter so we checked everyone so likely my baby too. 142 pulse rate is it ok for 3 yr baby?

What about the children who were exposed to covid ? Like parents were infected ? And is the risk of having mis is over after 4 weeks of covid or its exposure?.

Don't worry about the CRP, it will come down gradually.
Any temperature less than 100 in not considered Fever in children so don't worry, things will get better soon.

Hello sir. My daughter recovered from covid one and half month ago. She is 22 months old. She has lost weight as she lost her appetite during covid. Now from the last one week she is urinating only 4, 5 times in 24 hours. She wakes up in the midnight. She does not have fever.
Ok, don't worry. Just make sure she remains hydrated and the frequent urination or if she cries during urination then get her urine checked for Infection and treat accordingly.
