I'm 64 and just found my old trumpet at my dad's house. He passed away at almost 99 years old. I was looking through the house and found the trumpet. I haven't played it since I was 17 years old. I'll have to start from scratch, but first, I have to take it to the Music Doctors and get it nursed back to optimum health. Then I will start the process of learning to play again. My father always wanted me to play "Flight of the Bumble Bee". It was his challenge to get me to practice and become an excellent trumpet player. I always wanted to learn "Feels So Good". I am going to try and build my lip back, and strive to learn to play both of those songs. I had searched for that trumpet years ago because I wanted to keep playing before I lost it, but I had a family to feed and couldn't afford to buy a Trumpet for myself when my family had needs. The first wife is gone and the kids are grown. I'm retired now, and I have the time, so I'm going to start over and learn to play the trumpet again.

4:39 absolutely bang-on bro… im retired too an have chosen the same way thro, (chromatic harmonica) our Stories similar. Once begun the first thing I noticed was the door to past creeps-open and intuitively the heart delivers what I knew way-back an now, (2yrs) JOY has arrived inside me.

Hey guys. I am 51 years old and I've been a musician my whole life. My earliest memory of my uncle playing guitar was playing this song when he had his general business band when I was a little kid. You guys are absolutely off the charts awesome! You play this song so extremely well and so proud of the fact that you made the song happen. I love the subtle Latin twist from the trumpet player on Chuck Mangione's 1977 classic. I'm usually not a fan of covers, but this one is certainly an exception. Takes me back to my childhood for sure..

Chuck Mangione was one of my favorite concerts (3 years in a row 86, 87, 88) In band us trumpets, used to have Chuck contests to see who could play most like him. The bottles in the alley are a nice nod.
