      Yeah I'd way rather lose a close game late then get blown out in the third quarter and never have a chance. I'm not bothered at all by these, for one thing there is no "blown lead" or close games until the second half of the fourth quarter in the NBA. Most games you can only watch the last 5 minutes and nothing directly affects the outcome. I'm happy to see them playing much better overall than last year.

    I've been impressed with their resiliency so far game to game. Even after tough losses that they've had they've bounced back with good efforts in the next game. Not like last year where they'd have a close loss where we think they were turning a corner and then they'd be non-competitive in the next three or four straight games. So let's see, they've got a couple winnable games coming up. If they fall flat then I think we can go doom and gloom again but if they don't then I think there's reason to be optimistic

He won’t be closing games anytime soon when the rest come back. Duren can’t guard his lunch. Cade and Ivey need 1-2 other players who can make plays for others. Do you all realize that this is Stew's 5th season & Cade's 4th? Its time to expect more from them, especially Cade after that 200m extension. His turnovers are concerning.
    This is the 3rd gut wrenching loss in a week due to Low IQs by this team, which comes from yrs of losing. Yes, Cade made big baskets in the 4th quarter but they mostly came from those back breaking turnovers.
    Go get a real point guard & move Cade to the wing.
    Teams are now being physical & gaurding him 94 ft because they know he will cough up the ball.
    And yes, Stew is main culprit for this loss.
    Tragen should be listening to offers for everyone on this roster.

    • @pheralanpathfinder4897
      @pheralanpathfinder4897 Месяц назад +2

      WE aren't going to win the top pick in the draft. Intentionally losing 70 games isn't going to give us better than a 15% chance at Flagg. On the other hand actually winning games will have a major impact on the development of the team. When people say "don't tank" or "go for the playoffs" they aren't saying that Flagg and Bailey are overrated.

    • @obi3924
      @obi3924 Месяц назад

      @ They don’t have to intentionally lose. The losses will come naturally lol. This team is not good. I’m not saying they have to be last in the conference. I know how the lottery works. The 10-12th seed should give a decent chance at a top 3 pick. Hawks got the 1st pick last season as a play in team. Even if this team made the playoffs, it would be a complete fluke because of how bad the East has been this season. This team isn’t actually good and it needs more talent.

    • @pheralanpathfinder4897
      @pheralanpathfinder4897 Месяц назад

      @obi3924 the team is bad but very few people think that both those guys will be busts.
      Making the playoffs with 33 wins would be even more shocking than the Pistons actually winning over 30 games. But the Pistons are going to need to find a way to compete without landing a top three pick next summer. If the Pistons tank until they land another too pick Cade will likely leave before that pick plays a game.

    • @Lionheart831
      @Lionheart831 Месяц назад +1

      @@obi3924 Folks may disagree, but I think the coaching and the rotations are somewhat problematic. Not saying JB is a bad coach and all because he's a pretty coach, it's just that his coaching schemes are not helping Cade be more efficient in his game and lowering his turnover rates, Duren is still an offense and defense liability most of the time other than being a lob threat, but Ivey is progressing well with his game, so I think it's okay for him. I can tell that it's going to be a while before this Pistons team actually becomes a good playoff team or even a championship contender team.
      If Stew never did that idiotic stunt like he did tonight, the Pistons would've probably won that game.
