Why Can't I Drive at Night?

Fellow truck drivers have you ever been told you should not drive at night? I have been told by trucking dispatchers it would be better to drive during the day because more loads are set to pick up during the day. OK....I can pickup the load up, finish my reset and travel at night. I have also, had a trucking safety department send out a message to the entire fleet saying the safest time to drive is from 10:00pm to 10:00am. There are a crap load of drivers on the road at night and my point to you is do what makes you happy, do what is best for you. If your a lease purchase driver, company driver or you own your truck and just lease on with someone, if they can't accommodate your driving habits maybe you should look at other trucking companies, just saying.
