1. Fitness: My room is a floor away from the kitchen and the bathroom AND i climb the stairs two steps at a time. 2. Communication: "Sorry for bad english" and respond with memes and gifs, you are good to go. 3. Teamwork: I played Lol for like two years, sooo... 4. Strong Stomach: I watched Highlander. Not the movie, the TV Show. 5. Exploration: Skyrim. Around 200 hours. Pretty sure I'm ready to be a Space Ryder, bring it on SPACE!
Astronaut: '' Oh shit we are running out of Oxygen, Fernando Castro please help us!'' Fernando Castro: *Shows meme of the dog saying ''This is fine'' while his house is on fire.*
Jane, it makes me so happy to see another girl so obviously pumped about outer space. Going to ESA sounds really awesome, thank you for sharing this with us!
wait that is not normal? I grew up thinking that many women want that. Also Jane is a physician? Deffinetely someone I'd like to talk to. Probably would fall in love and have an interesting conversation. One of those to would be positive naturally.
Totally. I was disappointed that Emily Wong, Shepard's favorite reporter from the first two games, wasn't used in ME3. Having Jane on the ship would've more than made up for that disappointment. Maybe the next Mass Effect game can have Jane now that she's had the space training
There's been a couple, usually when an embargo lifts at midnight on a specific day. However this time I am totally assuming it's just because Jane wanted to use her new training to stick this on the RUclips satellites herself.
I'm so glad that you were one of the few who got to do this, Jane! You see, I, for one, welcome our new super soldier, space rider Overlord. And I'd like to remind her that, as a trusted fan, I could prove useful in rounding up others to toil in her orbital death ray station.
Jane gets food poisoning while piloting to a new home world. Feels queasy. Worried about vomiting in front of crew; flies into the sun. Problem solved.
I don't know why everyone is freaking out about Jane's newfound space powers. I for one welcome our new clan Douglas overlords. Viva la fiery green salamander!
How much overlap is there between modern astronauts (who mostly learn how to operate computerized boxes and not die of boredom while cooped up in them) and Andromeda's Pathfinders (who learn how to operate futuristic, more spacious computerized boxes, befriend and/or fight unknown alien races, etc etc)?
Well, games always let you skip over stuff like actually having to fill out mission reports, routine maintainance, landing on/taking off from planets in real time or those weeks when the only emergency is a malfunctioning toilet 'cot in all fairness, they do want the game to actually sell more than 3 copies.
This is so very very cool! I'm extremely envious that you got to do such an amazing thing, Jane. Thanks for sharing it with all of us! Out of curiosity, did you enjoy your time underwater enough to want to continue? Because I HIGHLY recommend getting SCUBA certification. SCUBA diving is one of the most serene experiences you can have on this Earth. :D
That must have been an amazing experience, and for all that, it's heartening to know that Jane "at least we took the ISS with us" Douglas is still the same chipper supervillain we've all come to love (and fear).
I love the Tshirt, gotta get me one of those! I remember when I was a kid getting up early on weekends to watch it on TCM or whatever channel it was that played old movies/tv. Loved that show.
First look at the thumbnail, and I thought "wow the graphics look so good for Andromeda". Then I slowly chuckled as I realized it was a picture of Jane. Ha
This was awesome! Good job Jane! You got my vote for you to be the Earth's Representative Pathfinder in the future since you're immortal and all! Plus, I hope Markiplier is watching this and taking notes. I remember him saying in his Alien: Isolation Let's Play that if there was a chance, like even if there was a 100% rate of dying, he would volunteer to be one of the first humans to do deep space travel?! I think that's an actual quote! Smh, oh Mark....
Yay! Been waiting for this. Obviously, I haven't watched it yet, it's 17minutes long and only posted for three, but I'm going to predict I'm going to be laughing a lot!
Larry Crumbs to compensate for the pressure on your body your air from your tank must be delivered at ambient pressure, otherwise it would not be able to inflate your lungs. The regulators on your scuba gear will deliver air at ambient pressure. This means at 10m depth you are getting air at two atmospheres of pressure. If you inflate your lungs with air at two atmospheres if you were to then hold your breath and ascend to the surface the external pressure on you reduces to one atmosphere, so the air in your lungs will expand to twice its original volume, which will burst something important. The effect can be seen with a balloon, inflate a ballon on the surface and take it down to ten meters it is under twice the original pressure (2 atmospheres) and will be half the size. Take it to 30 meters and it's under four times the pressure (4 atmospheres) and will be a quarter the size. If you fully inflate another balloon from your air tank at 30 meters and take it back to the surface it will be under a quarter of the original pressure and so will have grown to four times its original size (if it can stretch that far) while the original balloon has returned to its normal starting size.
Don't murder another person for two days?! Jane, I'm sorry but you would not be capable of not murdering another person for two hours, let alone two days.
I watch Ellen doing her thing on the other channel and think "she's cute, she might be cuter than Jane" Then I see Jane again and realise how silly that sounds.
Andy: "The will to explore is within me."
*spins in astronaut chair*
Andy: "... And now it's all over the room."
FonzietheCapybara The will to explore was in his lunch?
Well, now we can explore what he had for lunch. That's a start.
i ain't exploring that !!!
seems realistic i think he would do that
Jane's definitely using "training to be an astronaut" as a disguise of her elite military training so she's ready to take over the world.
Meetthekiller7 she's gonna use the pathfinder program as cover and travel to a new galaxy and conquer it and make janeitopia
Meetthekiller7 try to be original please thank you
Meetthekiller7 I am sure her lizard army is ready on the moon
Well I for one welcome our dark overlord
It was so much fun! :)
Thanks a lot! We were a good team 👍
You were so crazy on the chair :D
-sep
hi german boi
Space Jane. She's in space and also named Jane. SPACE JANE.
Sean Porcelli She's.... Spane?
So Jane speaking spanish ...IN SPACE!!!
and she's also speaking russian! don't forget that part!
....what? don't look at me like that, she said it herself!
...that was a joke? oh. okay.
Sean Porcelli That sounds so... Dandy, ehehe.
Sean Porcelli brilliant
So Jane has successfully been trained to wear something that feels suspiciously similar to wearing Darth Vader's helmet? I expect that's totally fine.
She's female, so how could she become a father?
" *Darth* *Vader:* No, Luke. I am your mother." - Darths and Droids, episode 1152. darthsanddroids net/episodes/1152.html
Problem solved.
I feel like something has been destroyed because of what you said.
Probably realism, but not logic.
Now Jane's twitter bio is finally accurate, we have ourselves an actual real life sasstronaut everyone!
I feel so happy for her, she looks like she really enjoyed herself!
Rosie Thorne is that dark magician girl it isn't clear
Srajan Gupta yup but I was thinking of changing it soon 😅
Well, I'm convinced. I see no reason not to have Jane represent humanity in space.
She is literally going to dominate the world is the reason. Next will be the Universe.
@@acedianPianist dominator oh yeah
1:55 So Jane has literally run up a wall. She's pretty much the Flash.
oh shit hello me fancy seeing u here
Uhhh...hi, me. How are you?
Ethan P Oh god no. She'll destroy us all!
Ethan P i am great me. thank u for asking. how are u, me?
Ethan Perrill I'm doing pretty swell, me.
"at least we took the iss with us"
oh Jane... your true nature always shows itself
Already thought noone was going to mention that
Is Jane now ready to conquer, I mean explore, space?
Flappy Enchilada, First Space, then The WORLD!
Ryan Peck Shouldn't she conquer the world first?
SSSSPPPAAAYYCEE
Flappy Enchilada how do we know she hasn't already conquered space
Flappy Enchilada space she control the question is what about earth
Great, now Jane is a competent astronaut. We're all doomed.
Booster Gold Maybe you are. I plan on being one of her henchmen. She's gonna need at least a small army.
+Ryan Peck You really think you're safe on her side? What about when she runs out of ENEMIES to destroy?
Must remember to develop a death laser that requires multiple people to operate
See, I have no need to fear Overlord Jane. For I will carry her swag wherever she goes. She needs a henchman to carry that swag so she don't need to.
Aren't you a goddamn Super Hero? This is why no one in this time knows who you are. You're not going to out shine Superman with that attitude.
Hidden (poorly) behind Jane's adorable face is her ultimate plan for world domination. This video definitely has something to do with it😶
Mafia were on to you Jane
We're* (kill me)
+Some Guy give me your location and I will
Oh wow. Judging by the footage, Jane's astronaut training went swimmingly.
She was out of this world. I'll go in the corner now.
I'll be honest, it was breathtaking.
*from the background* booooooooooo
You guys intentionally skipped the weapons training montage.
*footage not found*
Being Jane there's a massive chance she killed everyone in the station
1. Physical Fitness.
Welp, I'm not going to space then...
Ben Ward lol
lol Same
Ben Ward SAME DUDE XD
Ben Ward time to give up my dreams
Damn, I hoped that was Ben from Orange Goblin.
Valiant attempt to link it all back to Mass Effect when you were clearly so hyped about the real space stuff, Jane! :D
Astronaut: '' Oh shit we are running out of Oxygen, Fernando Castro please help us!''
Fernando Castro: *Shows meme of the dog saying ''This is fine'' while his house is on fire.*
*Depressurises the whole space station*
You cant be reported to NASA if there is no one to report you
Well you played lol for 2 years so im pretty sure u got cancer now. rip
Skyrim 200 hours, bah I have over 1000+ hours on my original Argonian savefile
Mister Taz that's nothing, try 2000
3:07
"I am also provably physically fit, and ready to be a Space...Rider..."
"Communication."
jgg1415 Bless you, good sir.
Z Warrior Krillin are you sure it's space rider not space raider?
Jane looks giddy about her experience. I'm glad to see she had fun.
it's official now, my Ryder's first name will be Space
tbrostorm Mine would probably be Night Ryder
Why not Lowe... you get your own theme music that way...
Why not Richard?
Jane, it makes me so happy to see another girl so obviously pumped about outer space. Going to ESA sounds really awesome, thank you for sharing this with us!
Well given shes a physicist its understandable
Cool, I didn't know that!
wait that is not normal?
I grew up thinking that many women want that.
Also Jane is a physician?
Deffinetely someone I'd like to talk to.
Probably would fall in love and have an interesting conversation.
One of those to would be positive naturally.
Jane, you should totally be a Mass Effect character. You're way better than Jessica Chobot and she was in ME3.
Totally. I was disappointed that Emily Wong, Shepard's favorite reporter from the first two games, wasn't used in ME3. Having Jane on the ship would've more than made up for that disappointment. Maybe the next Mass Effect game can have Jane now that she's had the space training
It's not too late to squeeze Jane into a DLC or a MP update!
I have never seen outsidexbox upload this late
There's been a couple, usually when an embargo lifts at midnight on a specific day. However this time I am totally assuming it's just because Jane wanted to use her new training to stick this on the RUclips satellites herself.
SkulloMan 47 I know. I was surprised. I was like,"Wow. Its like 12 for them. Weird."
SkulloMan 47 my guess is jane was late into the night editing this one because she was so rightfully pumped about it.
Jane's face sometimes looks like it belongs in a cutscene from 2010.
"At least we took the ISS with us" THATS THE SPIRIT JANE!!! Always look for the positives
Jane always glamorous even mid astronaut training
Jane that was so cool! thanks for sharing your adventure with us!
Jane is bae.
darksid33 yessss, I love Jane
To think, no matter how brilliant you are, your mastery of all things space, its possible to be too tall to go into space.
"Neutral Buoyancy Facility" definitely sounds like something named by Aperture.
I can't help but be impressed with Janes fashion sense everytime.
*Taking a Shower* notifocation squad!!!
*runs to my room butt naked*
Pics or it didn't - nope, never mind!
Where's your room butt? :p
Robert Faber Room Butts are what they call doors in Western East America.
this videos just a reminder that Jane is the most buff and chill 'girl-gamer' on this site. LONG LIVE JANE
Timothy Rodowicz who knew someone's opinion could be wrong
No you're in the clear. Long Live Jane! Best Gal-gamer since...forever xD
A lot of you don't know a lot of women irl, hm?
*beginning of video" okay! Ready to become a pathfinder!
*after number 1* we'll, there goes that idea.
thanks for showing us the training! Jane looks beautiful in this episode!
I like that you guys are doing more off script podcasty stuff It's really funny
If Jane is representing humanity, the aliens will bombard the earth with chocolates and flowers.
SameOldRocket
And then, they will be annihilated by the giant death lazer the Oxbox team has orbiting the Earth.
*_Pokémon gym_*
Jane. First and last line of defence against alien invasion.
Lp Alcantara Jane isn't 'invading' earth! she's keeping it from being invaded by someone else!
Daniel Carter Earth is protected
Thanks for the report, Jane! Looks like I've got a lot of work to do before I put in my Pathfinder application. I hope you had a great time!
Now, we'll never get lost in Space, cuz we got... Jane THE Pathfinder... Thanks Jane... Yay!
Matt Donovan Jane the space Ryder
You guys are awesome! And Jane, that must have been such an experience, i bet you enjoyed lots, keep doing what you are doing guys!!!!!
this video was great, made me laugh alot and jane is just amazing :)
This is probably one of the best videos yet!
I don't know why everyone is freaking out about Jane's newfound space powers. I for one welcome our new clan Douglas overlords. Viva la fiery green salamander!
This was a fun, enriching episode. A nice break from the usual content.
So is this what inspired Andy to become.e a sentient planet? It just seemed way easier than hitting the treadmill?
Just loved how improvised this was. Great video! =)
Vertical running - a lot of work but really worth it if you're ... that way inclined
I keep thinking of the Space Orb.
SPACE!!!

Y'all always manage to make me smile. Thank
I'm going to share all of my newfound space knowledge with my workmates tomorrow and they will think I'm actually smart! or just ignore me as usual
Well done! This was one of the coolest videos you guys have done! That said, I greatly enjoy most of your videos.
Goddammit it's almost 1:00 AM here, I was about to go to bed, why OX, why....?
Mathieu Pr still worth it
This is so very very cool!
Love you Jane
"At least we took the ISS with us."
That's the spirit, Jane. It's only the most expensive object in human history. Burn it. BURN IT ALL!
Instinct to explore? You RUclipsrs rarely leave London! : P
I loved this! As a child, I attended Space Camp/Academy in the US, twice. I was a huge nerd for astronauts.
so did jane get to ride in the vomit comet?
No. It was all ground based.
blackvial
the vomit comet lmao
Yup, it's a plane in basically a steep dive to simulate zero-g, I belive NASA astronaut trainees gave it the nickname... with good reason.
well how in the fuck is she supposed to experience Zero G's will all this ground based training?
i was thinking about archer
That must have been an amazing experience, and for all that, it's heartening to know that Jane "at least we took the ISS with us" Douglas is still the same chipper supervillain we've all come to love (and fear).
jane has a left ear!
@13:39 haha Jane's dizzy walk is the Daintiest thing I've ever seen, even disoriented she is still full of charm.
OK WTF was Jane's awkward camera aside when she mentioned stamina and endurance to Andy? Something going on between you two >∆>?
that would not at all surprise me but hell they could just be very close friends
Shh, don't ruin the fanfic she apparently writes! I haven't read it yet!
wise words
I love the Tshirt, gotta get me one of those! I remember when I was a kid getting up early on weekends to watch it on TCM or whatever channel it was that played old movies/tv. Loved that show.
Does space rider work with foam man?
John penn space foam man rider
First look at the thumbnail, and I thought "wow the graphics look so good for Andromeda". Then I slowly chuckled as I realized it was a picture of Jane. Ha
"Da kommt Luft raus!" XD (=theres air leaking out)
We love you Jane. You make me smile on an otherwise rubbish day!
Are lizard people supposed to tire easy?
Taco OFWGKTA yep. The first test is actually to filter out the lizards trying to disguise as people and steal our space secrets
1:45 * swoons *
Yay! Been waiting for this. Obviously, I haven't watched it yet, it's 17minutes long and only posted for three, but I'm going to predict I'm going to be laughing a lot!
I have exactly zero of these requirements, guess I'll just stick to playing the game.
I meet Luca Parmitano while working at my museum. So through an astronaut, long stretch here, I meet Jane.
You know where Jane was training to go? The only place not yet corrupted by capitalism: SPAACE!
actually space is explored because of capitalism.
Capitalism is natural the thing you call capitalism is not the real thing.
So jealous! Most of us can only dream of doing astronaut training, lucky lucky Jane! Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity!
At 7:45 is Jane high five-ing Chris Pratt in an astronaut suit... One word: Badass
R&R Wargaming the comment above this called it cringy lol
I'm so proud of our European space agency and also a bit jealous you Jane
How is she that adorable?
A lifetime's worth of perfecting that all-conquering smile?
as someone who runs for fun, fitness and away from my problems i've love to give that running up a vertical treadmill a shot. it looks like a blast.
I hope this has lots of physics
Wait a Soyuz assent can take up to 2 days?!? I didn't see a bathroom...
You should never EVER hold your breath when scuba diving but since you were not decending or acending I think you will be ok
Archibald Almond it's only when you're ascending (ambient pressure is decreasing) that it's a problem, because you'll pop.
Larry Crumbs to compensate for the pressure on your body your air from your tank must be delivered at ambient pressure, otherwise it would not be able to inflate your lungs. cjeam exactly my point
11:15 nice use of the galaxy map music from ME1. Very subtle.
Danlows1 They use the ME3 soundtrack throughout the video
Jane does a lot of high fiving in this video and when you think about it a high five is just a socially acceptable way of hitting someone. bad Jane
Kevin O'Connor Exactly! Look at how far she reaches out to the german guy just to make sure she's showing enough dominance.
3:48 ,,Da kommt Luft raus''. I would have NEVER expected to hear a german speak on this show... i'm happy now:)
Don't murder another person for two days?! Jane, I'm sorry but you would not be capable of not murdering another person for two hours, let alone two days.
Eric Lough But that is what video games are for! A safe outlet for our murderous urges! Right? Or am I doing it wrong again?
also I must say the picture of jane looms just amazing. the camera loves her and she looks great in that space suit!
Get yourself a woman who looks at you the way Jane looks at Andy
Matthew Gwinnett
So get a friend who looks at you like a friend? K.
+Bill Smith a sarcastic friend.
Congrats Jane! Great thing to tick off the life list for sure.
I watch Ellen doing her thing on the other channel and think "she's cute, she might be cuter than Jane"
Then I see Jane again and realise how silly that sounds.
Why are you comparing two entirely different people and why are you telling us about it?
Jane your awesome!! So jelly!!
Cringe alert from 7:40 to 7:47
Youssef Black You were right.
so happy she is back.
Jane displays so much grace after spinning in the chair. Perfect balance.
I liked this, it seems very genuine and not soo scripted
