- Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse has released and it was a HUGE SUCCESS at the Box Office. Putting other Marvel Superhero Movies to shame, specifically the ones coming from Disney and the MCU.
With all the forced representation and diversity in movies such as the recent Live Action Remake of The Little Mermaid, Across the Spider-Verse comes in with its own diverse superhero Miles Morales, and shows the industry how its done.
Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse puts the recent efforts of Disney and the Marvel Cinematic Universe to shame. And it also managed to do this with a much smaller budget of $100 million. When compared to Disney and Marvel's $200 - $250 million budgets!

The story arcs for both Miles and Gwen was so compelling!
I also love how the Spot was treated like a joke in the beginning but then is taken seriously in the end by making him look visually menacing!
This movie was the complete package! I love it so much🤩
The idea of Spider-Man being an almost Shakespeare like character is so ingenious. His destiny is made up of certain events and asks if the same should appeal to miles Spider-Man. That and the beautiful animation and story were just amazing. Can’t wait for the next movie, 9.5/10

I love Across The Spider-Verse so much. The very well-written characters especially Miles and Gwen, the thrilling story, the creative animation with the stellar action sequences, not to mention the incredible music and songs. I've already seen it twice and I'm planning to see it again, it's that good. Miles' journey is really engaging and I can't wait to see how it concludes in Beyond The Spider-Verse. Across The Spider-Verse is really up there with the first two Sam Raimi Spider-Man films and Into The Spider-Verse.
I didn’t notice the frame rate change so much, and honestly it gave me a headache. You’re the first one to accurately nail how I felt about the movie. Everyone is acting like it’s the second coming, but while I thought the characters got better development, and LOVED the animation styles, and the story was good, I felt the ending was too sudden and not satisfying like Infinity War. In other words, I need to see the next one before I decide whether or not to add it to my collection (both parts in 4K).
Well, to be fair Infinity War was kinda it's own tragic story, so it had a fulfilling ending, Endgame was just a continuation of that, Across and Beyond the Spider-Verse are one story cut in half, so it makes sense for the way Across the Spider-Verse ended

Both Spiderverse films to be are MASTERPIECES, and across the Spiderverse is currently my favorite film of 2023 no contest.
So happy you saw this film, this film needs more praise than it deserves. We need more movies like this and LESS MCU and/or DCEU.

Great video analyzing Across the Spider Verse roasting the crap out of Disney and the MCU for sure and I pretty much agree with everything you said about this movie.
I saw this movie and I enjoyed it and it’s just as good as Prehistoric Planet season two, Power Rangers Once and Always and the Super Mario Bros movie because I enjoyed them so much and I definitely enjoyed this movie more than the first movie in my opinion.

It is so laughable that the company that made the emoji movie, surfs up wrestlemania, and the smurfs was able to beat Disney and pixar. Just wow

The movie flopped at the box office. It only became popular once it hit Disney Plus. Hence a sequel could potentially perform like Across the Spider-Verse. But Disney are just moving forward with more live action remakes, such as Moana. A movie that also underperformed but took off once it hit Disney Plus.

I love going to the cinema, but I Rarely see the same movie twice during its theatrical run. Unless I'm seeing it with friends or my siblings who hadn't seen the film yet.
Across the Spiderverse is a movie I Cannot wait to see again, I seen it, but my siblings haven't.
On top of it being a great film, this movie needs to be experienced more times with a large theater screening, everything felt so fast and the constant adrenaline never let up!
Right out of the theater I gave it a perfect score of 5 or in my rating: NICOLAS CAGE LEVEL.
This was fantastic and the ending had me already anticipating the next movie.
The best part for me was when the T-Rex did the thwip had me Rollin lmao 🤣

Across the Spider Verse really showed Disney up. That’s how great this movie is. This did what The Little Mermaid couldn’t: It made a great movie with an African American lead!

I loved this movie it gave me everything I ever wanted and seeing my girl mayday Parker spidergirl finally adapted in animation makes me so happy that I am super excited to see more of her in the future also yay seeing Miles Morales Spider-Man and spidergwen become a couple in the future is really awesome that I cannot wait for beyond the spiderverse it’s going to be amazing at least in my opinion, also another bonus seeing miles morales Spider-Man prove everyone they are wrong is really awesome and of course another thing i love about this movie is that i got to see peter parker and mary jane have there daughter mayday parker spider-girl and having her help her dad made me so happy that i cannot wait to see her and spider-Gwen try to save Miles Morales is going to be really awesome and badass in my opinion.

Marvel movies isn't just the MCU, Spider-verse movies are also Marvel movies.
I'm specifically refering to Disney Marvel. The MCU. This movie is from Sony's Marvel. So as far as the movie side goes, both are different divisions/sides of Marvel.
And Sony managed to beat the majority of the Disney and the MCU's recent movies with an animated movie. Which is quite embarrassing on their part.

@Courtlin Sellers It was an unexpected surprise for me. Like uh, it was definitely a sequel to the first one. But what I didn’t get was the character changes to Puss and why is his hat so damn huge? But Death was so satisfying! He exposed the first thing Puss has ever experienced: Fear! We all know Puss to be fearless, but now he’s afraid for the first time. Even a small amount of blood did enough to do it. A lot of it was like extra and changing the music from traditional Spain music to computerized music was kinda lazy. But I see the potential the movie had and what the producers had in mind, I just feel bad cuz they had a deadline to meet, but they would’ve had slightly more time if they didn’t make his hat so big.
But the final battle gave us something different for Puss and that fight was entertaining for me

I agree with you, this movie is just amazing. Just like you I have seen many people not being very happy with the ending but I personally didn't have a problem with it. Yes, I knew before watching the movie that this was the first of two movies so I had my expectations right with that because I was actually expecting it to end in a cliffhanger. Unlike you, I wasn't expecting this to end like Infinity War, I was actually waiting for this to end like Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Part 1 or The Hobbit movies, where they obiously will not defeat the enemy and the story will just end right in the middle of the story.
That being said, I actually like the ending. The fact that I was actually expecting this to end in a cliffhanger kind of made me happy with THE cliffhanger I got. Tha final part is just insane, with so many plot twists one after the other until it reaches the final one, I was on the edge of my seat and I can not wait to watch the nest one!

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spiderverse is hands down my most anticipated movie ever now. This film was incredible. I love literally everything about it. I cannot wait to see how it’s all wrapped up. And to all the racist morons saying Miles Morales is Miles Morales (and not Spider-Man), I say read this movie and weep (or rather watch this movie and weep 😅)!

@@EricCarter12 Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is an action comedy done right. It’s not a masterpiece by any means but it is so much fun. Sisu is genuinely an AMAZING action film. I won’t give anything away but if you want to see a badass anti-hero fight and kill Nazis by the same people who did the John Wick movies then I can’t recommend it enough.

My favourite shows are Avatar The Last Airbender, Sherlock, Daredevil, Ed Edd'n Eddy, Batman the Animated Series, Only Fools and Horses, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Smallville, Friends, Big Bang Theory and many more.

If you’re looking for a hilarious sitcom to watch, I highly recommend Community. It’s by Dan Harmon (the creator of Rick and Morty) and is honestly one of the smartest and funniest sitcoms I’ve ever seen. The majority of the episodes from the show were also directed by the Russo brothers.

I didn't think Into The Spiderverse would ever lose its spot as my favourite movie but Across The Spiderverse managed to take it
I love how they mixed in animation, live action, video game graphics, comics, and even lego into this movie. this is definitely the best marvel movie that I have ever seen
I loved Indian Spider-Man, he's like the exact opposite of Spider-Man. He faces little to no consequences, at one point of the movie he literally says "being Spider-Man is sooo easy"
Also, no spider byte, he gained the powers by magical means.
The movie was PEAK perfection for me. 10/10 🗿
This was so amazing! And while I do respect your opinion, for me, I thought the cliffhanger ending was great and getting me excited for the next movie. This and the final episode of The Owl House, I would consider as the best animated projects of the year so far.
Fantastic movie and I can’t wait to see Beyond the Spider-Verse and if it works out well. Then we will most likely we have the best comic book movie trilogy since The Dark Knight Trilogy.

Great to see the movie is good, Eric. I haven't watched it yet, but I think I will, and I'll most likely love it. With that said, my only problem with is so far is Spider-Woman, because out of the entire cast, she's the only one who feels woke, as she is a race-swapped version of Jessica Drew, but is also based on a black Spider-Woman name Valerie, but they still decided to call her Jessica Drew instead. Thankfully, it's just one character, so it's alright. I'm still excited though.
Sony realized that good stories, good characters and leaving any kind of political messaging out the door will basically guarantee success. Top Gun Maverick already proved that and Across the Spider Verse confirmed it.

While Lightyear and Strange World were mediocre at worst, I love Raya and the Last Dragon and was sad when it didn’t do well at the box office. Yes, I do agree they botched the "you gotta learn to trust people" and Namaari is a badly written villain, I still enjoyed the film. It makes me upset that Tom and Jerry 2021 made more money, and I hate that movie!

Not only that, but Disney is also obsess with remaking their animated movies. And their latest "Live action" remake, was beaten by an animated movie. A Marvel adaptation that is not from them but from Sony. And Disney also put out the 1993 live action Super Mario Bros. movie that flopped. And an animated movie that Universal put out was successful unlike that one.

@@EricCarter12 Spider-Man and Batman are both tied as my no. 1 favorite superhero, and Spider-Man 2 is one of my favorite movies ever. When I think of Spider-Man, this is the film that always comes to my head. But both Into and Across the spider-verse are very close seconds.

This is Sony Marvel. Not Disney MCU. They are two separate divisions of Marvel, hence one beat the other.
