During the night when Albert was supposed to pass away in his sleep, Andrew the angel of death came to escort him to heaven. But Monica our angelic heroine intervenes and begs her friend not to take the young man now until he fulfills his destiny as a doctor and helps so many others. This dramatic standoff of the angels is finally settled by the motherly Tess who decides in favor of a second life for Albert. She bestows a maternal kiss upon the forehead of the sleeping young man and miraculously cures him of leukemia. After Tess and Andrew quietly depart, Monica then realizes that their little angelic drama had been silently witnessed by Albert's sister Laura Ingalls. The 2 females knowingly smile at one another. Monica transforms herself into a white dove and flies out the window. A fan theory but I like to believe that is what finally happened.
@@katherinegloriasantiesteba2095 if Im not mistaken, it was at the end of the episode where Laura would recite her 'endings' that Albert came back to WG as a doctor. Even though this particular episode was so sad, in reality, Albert was never existed, he was only a fictatious character Micheal Landon created . Well, he did create a hell good one character for us to remember.
He doesn’t die though, he comes back 20 years later as a doctor according to Laura
Yes, I remember Laura saying something like that at the end of a certain episode. And that’s how I would like to remember Albert.
Which makes no sense at all for the late 19th century. Back then a cancer diagnosis was a death sentence.
