Congratulations to this team. They came so close to winning it their first year as a team. Didn't take them long at all to get back and win it all!

I was actually satisfied enough that the Capitals won in 2018, as it took 44 years for them to finally win it all.
Then they got knocked out in round 1 while the cats went back to the cup final to finish the job. Vegas is cooked
Last year, the Vegas Golden Knights won the first Stanley Cup title against the Florida Panthers and this year, the Florida Panthers won the first Stanley Cup title against the Edmonton Oilers.
The knights scored 25+ goals in the last five games. Absolute domination. Congrats VGK.

A very deep and balanced team. Good organization from Bill Foley on down. Foley is a hands off owner that hires good people -- Pres., GM, admin and let's them do their job.
I mean, they received what no other expansion got before them. A playoff ready team. They were literally able to steal players from every other team. 😂😂 they were poised to win a cup from day one. As a Sabres fan IDGAF since we won't win one until 2048 but let's not act like this was some shocker.
@@PlumpHotdogevery expansion draft allowed teams to steal players. The knights were not a playoff ready team since day 1. Or at least were predicted to be last for 5 seasons before their first playoff run. They also picked 4th liners cause they were not good except for marchy and Fleury
