Just makes me appreciate what Capcom was able to pull off with World 5 years ago, on last gen consoles no less.

Heck, makes me appreciate what they’ve pulled off now with RE2 and 3 remake as well as RE8, those games run flawlessly on the various consoles, yet this one is just having a myriad of issues it seems.
has nothing to do with 'being able to pull off' a good product. Omega force/Koei Tecmo are one of the worst Japanese game devs with regards to optimisation and visuals in gaming. Capcom is literally the very top tier, and these guys are the bottom. They have not evolved in decades.

Remember when developers took pride and took time to make a complete finished product for consumers? Those days have been long gone. You’re basically paying full price for an unfinished product. Pathetic.
Sadly we’re now paying 70 dollars instead of 60 for these unfinished products, and it honestly feels like it keeps getting worse and worse as time goes on.
This makes me seriously appreciate just how well Capom’s various games they’ve released utilizing the RE Engine have ran, heck even Elden Ring ran better on my Xbox One (when I still used it before I got the Series S.)
Their seriously charging 70 bucks for a game that runs this poorly on everything consoles and pc, that’s seriously screwed up.

So glad that I bought the Series S, since it was all I could afford, to once again play at 30-fps because devs don't care to optimize for us.
Luckily there are developers who do care about providing a better experience in sS than these crazy people.
The thing that people don't understand is that you dont just click a button and the game optimizes itself. It is a very taxing job.
PlayStation 5 is better in terms of frame rate and even in terms of SSD
I was and still am excited for this game but the performance on a Next Gen console and those technicalities is what I’m going to use my judgment on… The monster Hunter fan in me just might wait because I want to play the game to its full capabilities and capacity… 30fps for $70-80 just doesn’t seem worth it right now… idk
Update: So continuing an open mind and just the excitement, I went ahead and bought the game.. after the first few hours of almost being completely disappointed, I started to genuinely enjoy the game. I went in as a Monster Hunter Veteran, playing it as if it had MH mechanics as far as the combat and it definitely humbled me. Graphics on the PS5 aren’t next gen in my opinion but it’s still good. They came out with 2 updates and I have seen some improvements. I would recommend but just keep an open mind that it’s not Monster Hunters and that it’s a new IP and you would love it for what it is. I’m not too excited that it’s from EA, but nonetheless, it’s a fairly good game in my opinion. Definitely still needs some updates however.

Dude it’s not even 720P, now I’m not a pro at checking pixel counts (I am definitelyyy not digital foundry lol) but to my eye after checking capture, it looks like dynamic resolution scaling from 1080P max, which is basically never, all the way down to about 600P. Again I could be wrong but I definitely saw counts below 720 p

Iam A XBOX man but honestly I can’t tell the difference between the two they look the same.
Quick resume isn't great since you can't connect back online to hunt with others. You have to reboot the game to do it. Very annoying.

I bought the game on ps5 and it is the worst decision i ever made. The resolution and texturing is worse than ps4 games. Koei Tech is involved in this game and it shows the graphics standard the upcoming game Wo Long gonna be.
Yeah I really wanted to play this game, but I have a Series S and I just couldn’t stomach playing the game with the frame rate and the resolution. Knowing not much changes with the Series X yeah this game is a hard pass.

PS5 Performance mode, if you have a 1440p monitor the game runs at 1440/60 fps. Much better than 1080 you mention.

@@GhostStalker16 1080p scales perfectly on a 4k screen and looks perfectly fine at normal viewing distances in my opinion, well certainly not ‘atrocious’ as you described it.
Once they optimize it better it'll run and look better on the Series S. If Elden Ring could run and look great on my Series S then I'm sure this can as well. From what I'm hearing though this game on all platforms is running like trash.

Shame it can't hold a solid 60 fps on current gen hardware. I'm hoping patches can fix this. it's such a great game that manages to feel a lot different from MH, which makes it all the more sad that the performance is this bad

Most people on PS5 are usually resuming games which is very reliable on PS5. They don't start the game from the start (or use activity cards that is the same when not properly implemented).
The image of this game is blurry, even though my notebook is i7 Gen 11 Windows 11, NVIDIA 3080.
Images from Game Monster Hunter World, Rise, which are so detailed and clear.
Meanwhile, the images from Wild Hearts are still lacking in detail, still losing fps, still blurry.
How come the series s is faster in boot up and quick resume, shouldn't that be the series x over the series s🤔
It's the lower resolution and graphics quality that's making it load the game faster.
Does VRR helps on the series x?
Honestly no at many points it drops below the VRR range on both the series X and ps5 I'm talking 30 to 40fps for some hunts. Id really wait if I were you honestly..

Wild Hearts ran on my Series S like a PS2 title. I couldn't even see my character in the snow, because of how bad the snow particles are

The lighting for the series x looks very wrong. I have a series x and it is very similar to the PS5’s lighting and shading or whatever you call it.
Its all about optimization the series s should at least run it at 2k

Its no fair to compare MH rise to Wild Hunter... Wild is a LOT better , gameplay , the monsters are a LOT more " AMAZING " , moves , fight style , sizes , everything... And the World is a lot bigger than Monster Hunter world , " the no instanced part sizes " ... Im having a lot more fun playing Wild Hearts 1080p Ultra 45 - 60 frames in my PC , than I was having in Monster Hunter Rise 1440p 120 frames stable... That is the truth ...
Monster Hunter World was something else, really impressive, I respect Monster Hunter world very much !
But Monster Hunter RISE is a nintendo switch base, is more like a " LIGHT " monster hunter version. Monster Hunter Lite you know? Its kinda empty... I was playing Monster Hunter Rise before started Wild Hearts , and I was a little upset , playing 1 hour for day... Wild Hearts I played 10 hours in one day and a half, its REALLY better and more interesting in almost any senses, even with the trash optmization, if the solved that optmization thing, I will buy for a full price , I dont even care... But the optmization needs to get better, the only really negative thing about this GREAT game.

NOTICABLE more aliasing all over on the ps5 4K MODE... it's not THAT BAD guys... it's a 4k mode and a performance mode on ps5 thats powerful!! But give props to XSX quality.

Sure it looks like trash. It's also been out what- a few days? Developers are notorious these days for releasing dumpster fires that get patched to normal in a few weeks. I never got interested in the monster hunter genre until i saw wild hearts. The game is so amazing and fun to play. MH always felt a bit like a kids game to me. Wild hearts is the adult and better version of MH in my opinion. I love it!

@@applehazeva2739 devs were concerned before the consoles even released, there was a petition amongst some devs to ask Xbox to remove the s altogether, it’s mainly time , resources and money rather than laziness to have to build a downgraded version when they just want to look forward with the PS5 and series x.
The only reason the s is a thing is because Xbox wanted a cheap gamepass machine thinking everyone would buy that but it’s not been the case.
It’s not the consoles fault my guy, it’s the fact that they didn’t optimize the game well enough and the end result is it running pretty bad on everything.
If a game like Elden Ring can run just fine on the Series S, this game has no excuse.

The hardware isn’t the problem here, plenty of games run on the Series S just fine, it comes down to the developer getting lazy and doing a poor job optimizing the game, and funny you try to blame the Series S when EVERY other console plus PC are running into issues, so it’s not one sole consoles fault, it’s the fault of the developers in charge of optimizing the game and them clearly doing a poor job.
