yes country acapella & a lot of covers but a lot of originals too !!! Home Free is the REAL DEAL ! Try their cover of Boyz2Men "End of the Road" and then an original "DIVE BAR SAINTS".
I second both of these!!
Their End Of The Road is amazingly good. But one of the best covers they do is, Man Of Constant Sorrow (from movie Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? So much great stuff.
They also did a cover with the original artist of American Pie's Don McClean. Their American pie is exceptional.
Their beatboxer, Adam Rupp is the best in the business and he has won competitions to prove it.
They do every genre! They do several covers, & have several originals.

Home Free 101---Beatboxer Adam Rupp co-founded HF in 2000. Tenor Rob Lundquist (glasses) introduced himself to the group in 2008. Bass Tin Foust (white steak in hair) has been wrecking speakers since 2010. The group found tenor Austin Brown, the lead singer in this song, aboard a cruise ship in 2012. Bass-baritone Adam "Chance" was invited to replace co-founder Chris Rupp in 2016.
Home Free has been around a long time. I believe sometime in 2000, and Pentatonix was sometime in 2010-2011. These young men are amazing, and I have yet to hear anything bad from them.
Yes, Adam Rupp and his brother Chris started the group in 2000. Chris has since left and moved on to other ventures, and that was when Adam Chance (often referred to as simply Chance since there's another Adam) joined them as a baritone/bass. They are so talented and you really can't go wrong no matter what you pick to react to, but I will say to please wait to react to Mayday until you've done at least half a dozen of their other songs and understand their "usual" roles and ranges. Tim Foust, the bass, Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browm high tenor make up the voices of angels. The bass guy in this group Tim Foust is originally from Texas. He was inducted into the Gulf Coast Hall of Fame in Port Arthur last year.
They are " country" acapella. They do all kinds of covers but have original songs that are great. They are just a feel good band that makes your soul happy. A good original song Dive Bar Saints.
There is no lead singer. They all take the lead, It just depends on the song. They refer to themselves as the only all vocal country band, but they do all genre's. And they do covers, but they also have a lot of originals, also. Most of their songs on their latest album, DIVE BAR SAINTS are originals. Try Catch Me If You Can, Or Dreamer, or any of them , in fact. Their Butt's Medley is really good, too.
They cover a lot of songs but have some great originals too. For humor, check out "Champaign taste on a Beer Budget." For sappy romance (sappy in a good way), there's "Snow Globe." For inspirational, "What's the World Coming To." "Good Ol' Country Harmony" is great as is "Summer in the Country."
For a very different country experience, are you familiar with Craig Morgan? His most memorable song (it's very emotional) is "The Father my son and the Holy Ghost." The live version at the Grand Ole Opry or his official music video are both very good.
Home Free has actually been around alot longer than Pentatonix. They're the only "country" a capella group out there. They do much more than country though. You definitely need to check them out further.Their covers of " Man of Constant Sorrow", Bots II Men's "End of the Road, "Hillbilly Bone", "My Church", and the "Butts Remix" are all great places to start. Looking forward to seeing you react to more of them.

Due to the covid & people were staying at home, this, and a few others, were rocorded in each of their homes, then put together. Amazing.
They are the 1st and only country a capella.

Home Free calls themselves a country vocal band but they sing any genre, and do them well! Try “Man of Constant Sorrow” from the movie “O Brother Where Art Thou.” For a change of pace “Ring of Fir,” “Butts Medley,” “Still Havent Found What I’m Looking For” (you’ll find that one on Peter Hollen’s channel,” “Mayday,” and a broad array of other video’s. These guys are every bit as good as Pentatonix and other a cappella groups you may have heard…just different and very likable.
Y'all might enjoy their cover of "God Blessed Texas". They did it to help raise money for Hurricane Harvey relief in Texas since a lot of the flooding occurred in the area where Tim is from & where his family still lives. Some of my other favorites are "My Church", "In the Blood", and "Take Me Home Country Roads". For a little change of pace, check out their cover of Boyz II Men's "End of the Road".
Austin and Adam (beatboxer) killed this. Home Free is amazing. You often don’t miss the instruments because of the amazing beatboxing and Tim’s bass. Austin was incredible here. They do sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own stuff. They are mostly country but sing all genres and sing them well. Try Helplessly Hoping, Seven Bridges Road, Country Roads to hear great harmonies. For fun try their Butts Remix, Hillbilly Bone. Good reaction! I subscribed.
I just subbed so I can see your reactions to Home Free. If you... no, WHEN YOU realize you're a huge fan, you can officially refer to yourself as a "home fry" because that's what we are! Songs that are a must are: Man of Constant Sorrow, the 50th anniversary of the remake of American Pie featuring the original artist Don Mclean, and take a beautiful walk through the mountains and listen to How Great Thou Art.

Home free is an acapella group that just like pentatonix they both won seasons on the competition show "the sing off" home free was on the show after pentatonix was. Home free was already touring the country at that time doing smaller venues but wanted to jump to the stadiums and arena tours so they could reach more fans and get recognized by more people. They're amazing and also do their own original music along with the covers that they do. This was also recorded during lock down and they couldn't meet which is the reason for the screens. They have a lot of brilliant songs, I especially love Mayday , Ring of Fire and Man of constant sorrow and In the blood.
All good choices! Push "Mayday" down the list, however. In order to appreciate it fully, you must totally familiar with the guys and their voices. (You'll understand why when you get there!)

Already a Queenie sub but now I get to enjoy Home Free too!!!!! Yessss!!!! Hope you check out more they have tons of songs. Originals as well. If you want to get a feel for them as far as seeing diversity check out Man of Constant Sorrow, My Church, How Great thou Art, In the Blood. They always do a lot of humorous videos. I'm a fairly new Home Fry(Home free fan) but fell deep into the rabbit hole. 🐇 🕳. They are so awesome. Everytime you think it can't get better it does. I've been quiet till now but I am seriously passionate about these guys, they are just incredible in anything they do.

Pentatonix can't hold a candle to these guys.
Let's not mix 'em up. I like PTX, BUT HF is better, in my opinion. They do a lot of music stuff together, not hating each other. They don't sing together, but the do arrangements, throw in advice on videos, etc...Avi (PTX bass before) is good friends with HF. Tim has given bass "tips" to both Avi, and Castelucci (Voiceplay), on how to sing lower.
