I've watched quite a few you of your reactions, such as Bill Burr, Ron White, Jokoy, and many more. BUT, when you started reacting to Home Free, which is MY favorite group, you got my full attention! I didn't sub before, but I just did bc you reacted to them! Keep it up! They have millions of followers!
Just about did a spit take when Dave paused 🤣.I was thinking the same thing! The singing is amazing, i don't want to take away from that; but moments like that is why i love the channel.
LOL yes socially distanced, they are all in their home towns...Rob & Adam (beatboxer) in Minneapolis, Tim & (bass) & Austin (lead singer here) in Nashville, and Chance in Los Angeles. Austin's lady, Amberly, was their in studio with him, and was his "inspiration" for singing this :)
They should try out If If I Needed You by Emmylou Harris and Don Williams. I know that it's a duet between a man and a woman, but it won't hurt to try, lol.
Home Free has a new video out of an original song by Tim Foust "What's Left of My Heart" and Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist have a video "Two Country Singers try Singing Opera" that will leave you gob-smacked.
NO egos. The things they take seriously are their music and their fans. Themselves, not so much. Yes this was a "socially distanced" video. It worked well; Austin was flirting because his girlfriend was at the filming location.
Though you have to admit, Austin flirts with the camera, girlfriend or not (Man of Constant Sorrow comes to mind), as does Chance (that cheeky wink in Blue Ain't Your Color). Tim, on the other hand, just stares into your soul...
Home Free releases videos every other Friday. The 12th was a Friday. Doesn't hurt to have a couple days' lead on the holiday so folks can actually, ya know, incorporate the song into playlists, etc. Like, you don't release your Christmas song on Dec 25. On some songs, the lead goes from one singer to another (like their most recent collab with Don McLean on American Pie where they each get a verse). On others they feature one or two singers. The HF guys have no egos. They write and arrange songs with other members in mind all the time (Their most recent release -- Travelin' Soldier -- arranged by bass Tim Foust and two other folks features tenors Austin and Rob in the leads). They love featuring each other's voices. No egos. None. They have songs where each of them has the chance to shine. This is definitely one of Austin's.
Great reaction! Homefree is very creative when it comes to their quarentine videos. The Sea Shanty Melody is also a socially distance video. They were not the originators of the Sea Shanty but are covering them. You should definitely ch2ck it out! Thank you for this Homefree reaction!!
Ok, now you guys have to check out Austin doing a solo bit. And it has to be his cover of Unchained Melody with his pal Steven Martinez on guitar. It's GORGEOUS!
He's also done covers of Ain't No Sunshine and Tears in Heaven that are absolutely beautiful. And keep listening after the music is over on the second one.
I was fortunate enough to see Percy Sledge when I was 16 or 17 in a little bar in Augusta, Ga. Back then we could get in anywhere without IDs. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Austin Brown that is lead in this song, also sings Bring Him Home from Les Miserables. Fantastic! Listen to the one on Heidi’s channel!❤️ He was classically trained.
"When a Man Loves a Woman" is a song written by Calvin Lewis and Andrew Wright and first recorded by Percy Sledge[1] in 1966 at Norala Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama. It made number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B singles charts.[2] Singer and actress Bette Midler recorded the song 14 years later and had a Top 40 hit with her version in 1980. In 1991, Michael Bolton recorded the song and his version peaked at number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the Billboard Adult Contemporary Singles chart.
Thanks for posting this. A lot of wine people tok songs from black artists. especial;;y from the era pf Motown and even earlier when white stations wouldn't play the songs. Elvis Presley was notorious for singing black music. His big hit Hound dog and In the Ghetto are prime examples
The sea shanty craze seems to have started on Tic Tok. The difference is that Home Free does a medley of 4 of them. There are many good versions out there. I think I prefer Alina Gingertail 'The Wellerman' simply because she is easy to look at. :-) Do Home Free though. They are always very good. If you do go listen to Alina's channel, watch her 'Red Alert 3'. It is a riot & has huge viewership. Might be worth a reaction along with 'The Wellerman'.
I enjoy all their stuff, particularly the bass heavy songs, but this is their best cover by far. It makes me want to walk into the bedroom and wake my wife up from her nap for a little afternoon delight. In fact, I think that's exactly what I'm gonna do. See you boys in 2 minutes. 😉
THIS IS THEE BOMB IN BLUES BALLAD BASHING IT TO THE TENOR TOP ...... simply the best this song can be. With repsect to my guy PERCY SLEDGE ... who blasted this as well .... he has been PAST by this Georgia Boy, Austin. GBjj
Sea Shanty is a good one. I guess the craze started on TikTok and these guys wanted to participate so they did a medley of songs. It’s really good. Home Free is so good. If you want to see the beatboxer really show his chops watch Adam Rupp drum solo on youtube. He’s really amazing. Also if you want to hear what the bass singer can do listen to Misty Mountains with Tim Foust (bass from Home Free) and Peter Hollens (another amazing “a cappella” singer). It’s just Peter and Tim singing the song from the movie the Hobbit. Amazing talents. Good reaction boys!
Finally I manage to get a reaction video from you guys where you are actually reacting. Must be my bad luck, because up till this gem I had only seen you guys sitting there passively through most of the song and afterwards not really saying much. I almost didn't watch this reaction, but I'm glad I did. You were animated, involved, mentioning things you noticed and liked and this truly was a reaction video. Glad you liked it.
Not sure if anyone said it but the reason he was dying to wink at the camera, apparently his bride-to-be was behind the camera during this performance 🤣🤣 and she IS. A. SMOKE. SHOW.
Hey Fellas, I've watched a lot of your reactions, including Bill Burr, the Star Spangled Banner, and many others. BUT, this is a different story! My favorite group, for years, has been Home Free (I'm a Home Fry), and if you're going "there", your subs are about to take a big jump up! If you play HF, the Fry's will come! And, there are millions of them! This is a good choice for you guys to make! Just play a few HF videos, and watch your likes and subs jump!
I have to say I had to wonder if you had your headphones turned off when Austin came in. Absolutely no expression on any of your faces. I've seen a lot of reactions to this and I guarantee that is not tne usual response. But I've never watched you guys before, so maybe you are just very stoic guys.
I wish you guys would choose a song they've done that is more guy-centric like Folsom Prison Blues or any number of others from their library of dozens. This song really isn't best for 3 dudes to review. At all. SMH
Ready for more Dimash Kudaibergen??? Your first reaction to SOS was from four years ago at his Chinese competition that lasted 14 episodes on Chinese television. He was clearly the winner but he was 2000ths of a point behind the actual winner. Go to his RUclips channel and find “across endless dimensions.”There are two of them and either one of them will do. It is an official show tune for a movie that could be released this year. He sings in English. He will shock you.
If you haven't seen Michael Bolton's rendition, then you haven't really heard the song. As great as Percy Sledge's was, Michael take it to a whole different level.
His girlfriend Amberly was in his line of sight behind the camera. I love how you guys just dismiss artists you know nothing about and therefore misinterpret the motive behind the visuals you are watching. Yeah. You don't have to like the looks, but I find it gives me that 'personal experience' vibe.
There is always something to be said about an original song, but just listen to Austins performance. There is no doubt he is a superior vocalist, and I love the song for that reason and more. But yes, it is Percys song. Still no reason to hate cover groups, they can bring an older song new life amd introduce it to a new generation.

I've never heard this song until Austin sang it and I'm glad he did. That man can sing the phone book.
Wow that gave me goosebumps!
These guys are amazing...so much talent between them.
The harmonies are mesmerizing! Look up Adam Rupp drum solo, he is the one with the vocal instrument talent! Great reaction! I love Home Free😊
Home free is amazing. Love every song they do. Just awesome.
They should try out If If I Needed You by Emmylou Harris and Don Williams. I know that it's a duet between a man and a woman, but it won't hurt to try, lol.
Home Free knows how to do a cover.
Austin put 100 💯 % into this
Home Free has a new video out of an original song by Tim Foust "What's Left of My Heart" and Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist have a video "Two Country Singers try Singing Opera" that will leave you gob-smacked.
I love these guys and they totally knock the cover out of the park!! Definitely suggest the Sea Shanty Medley!
Recorded that this week so it will be out soon 👍🏻
Home Free is amazing! Everything they do is awesome!
He actually keeps looking towards his girlfriend who’s standing by the camera
I imagine she was standing in a puddle by the end. 🤣
@@americansmark I bet
@@americansmark I sure would be lol
Home Free cover of End of the Road is fantastic

@@lrfcowper Unless Tim's singing tenor like in Snowglobe; then he just looks as happy-go-lucky as can be.
@@petuniasevan That's our Tim -- soul-stealing bass, exuberant tenor, goofy child.

it sure is !!

He brought his girlfriend for inspiration and he directs parts of the song to her.
Yes Sea Shanty Medley and Folsom Prison Blues were both great quarantine videos. Can't wait to see your reaction to both.
I was fortunate enough to see Percy Sledge when I was 16 or 17 in a little bar in Augusta, Ga. Back then we could get in anywhere without IDs. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Tim Foust (the Bass), had been on Austin for. Good while to do this one….he Finally did , to our Enjoyment 🙃❤️‼️
Austin Brown that is lead in this song, also sings Bring Him Home from Les Miserables. Fantastic! Listen to the one on Heidi’s channel!❤️ He was classically trained.
The best one is their End of the Road cover.

Please checkout Home Free with (Don McLean the original singer) American Pie.
Another classic to check out is American Pie ft. Don McLean, the original.
I’m going to see them in Dallas, Texas December 12th, 2021. Can’t wait. I love y’all’s channel. You have a new subscriber in me.
Percy Sledge is original singer is from my hometown Leighton Alabama I worked with him for a couple years.
I enjoy all their stuff, particularly the bass heavy songs, but this is their best cover by far. It makes me want to walk into the bedroom and wake my wife up from her nap for a little afternoon delight.

I hope you 3 min instead of 2😏
Gee, at least wake her up first.
This was great
Yes! Do Home Free's Sea Shanty medley, it's awesome and funny too.
their version of Mayday really shows their range
You could also do walking this land

Percy Sledge would have been the way to go imo. Hate cover groups.
I just listen to Percy Sledge version no where near as good as Bolton or Home Free.
There is always something to be said about an original song, but just listen to Austins performance. There is no doubt he is a superior vocalist, and I love the song for that reason and more. Not the same, no soul in a song meant to portray tender feelings. Michael Bolton's rendition was far superior in my opinion.
Nope, do Not agree. Love love Austins version.
