2 lovely watches Dee. Grand Seiko are generally underrated for me. Superb quality and a super high standard but (unfairly) suffer from not being Swiss or from those comparing them to Rolex. Quality wise i believe they're better but its the reputation and name they just can't match.

First of all another amazing review, the intro was on point, and informative as always, GS really did an excellent job with its variation of mesmerizing dials, this model is definitely one of them and for me really is a little underrated, really deserves a lot more hype, enjoying the content Dee keep it going.

Like yourself Dem, I am also feeling the love for Grand Seiko at the moment and have done so for a few years now. As you point out their dials are beautifully textured and patterned. They are up there with Moser, my favourites of the moment - anOrdain, and the finest - Voutilainen.
I do appreciate Grand Seikos Hi-Beat movement but, am more intrigued by their Spring Drive movements. The Omiwatari dial Spring Drive Watch that Grand Seiko do is my favourite of the moment. A hand wound piece with its power reserve on the back of the movement instead of on the dial as usual.
The Zaratsu polishing is great and your pronunciation was correct my friend. The word Zaratsu is actually the derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the German word ‘Sallaz’ (which is pronounced ‘Zarats’ in German). GEBR.SALLAZ was the German company that made the polishing machines that Seiko bought back in the 1950’s. So, Zaratsu polishing it has become known as.
A good video here my friend. Good to see some of the different brands that Spencer has in stock other than the same old boring Rolex stuff. Keep up the great work! ✊

If only they removed the Seiko of the dial, I can never take them seriously, if only a good review.
