"And it was not their force of will, not their Void devilry, not their alien darkness... it was something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly broken thing...and take away its pain." I thought of that Ballas quote at the end of the quest.
I love that ending with the two Vessels- Love beating back Indifference is, like, such a good distillation of warframe’s themes and I love that we’re getting into it so explicitly with this arc.
Another youtuber did a breakdown of the quest and over that moment he put a Ballas quote that if i didn't know better feels like it could be in the quest
"Until they came. And it was not their force of will, not their Void devilry, not their alien darkness... it was something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly broken thing...and take away its pain."

Fibonacci is such a jackass, I love him so much.
He vented his friend's girlfriend into the Void tho...
Hi I'm Norg and welcome to __
Genuinely enjoyed watching your playthrough of this wild-ass amazing quest
I didn't hear any of the BGM cause I forgot to turn it back on when I started the story lol. I turned it off for reasons that I have forgotten and just never turned it on again. I watched the vod and it's sad you thought the book was just for show and never used it except your Broken War and Nataruk. You would have enjoyed the book cause it was infinite ammo and shoots fairly fast. I actually threw 4 formas on mine before I even continued the story mode and practically nuked everything with it. Literally left the Sanctum and went to SO for the next 30 minutes building it. Totally worth it. Not as strong as incarnon secondaries or other stuff but it can still shred SP mobs when I tested it.
"Warframe is like eight games in a trenchcoat." That has to be the most accurate description of it I've ever seen. Yes, basically that.
I think Tagfer has different lines when you ask him about Papa, because when I asked he said something about how he thinks the Man in the Wall just wants to be included in the whole thing we non-Void critters have going on, but he doesnt quite get the whole human thing so everything he does is kinda half-assed.
Tagfer has multiple lines there
Additional: each cavia has 2-3 different voice lines for when you walk up to and talk to them, and it changes based on your cavia faction rank.
Nice profile picture
And it’s confined to our laws because of Khra and whatnot so imagine if it wasn’t tied to rules and laws of psychics and stuff.
Can't watch this yet because I haven't had time to play it, but KNOW that I'll be watching through this vod once I've done the quest! Can't wait!
Also what sucks BAD about octavia is her music overrides the new music entirely :/
I always have mandchords on mute for this reason lol
@@agingerbeardyou'd think id would had gone insane if i kept my mandachord on hearing those spammy notes for spamming crouch.
@@florin9243 lol
Go into settings and tune her down or off you don't need to hear her to get buffs anyway
I’d love for an audiobook by Albrechts voice actor
I've heard there actually are
Edit: Ok nvm, it's probably the same body he's had, Loid simply helped Albreit get his eyesight back some time later
This quest confirmed that Albrecht actually did go through one last continuity after his whole encounter with Man in the Wall, wayyy into the Old War as well, even was capable of making his own warframes, rivaling Ballas even. Human-Loid is fully aware of who the Tenno and Warframes are, it's pretty cool imo! At first I thought he Human-Loid went to sleep before The Old War, but he even went against friggin Granum and even beat against the Infested, so he must've gona to sleep a little after Deimos's infestation? Then again, he said the war is a memory now, so might not have known the Old War ended?
I don't think Albrecht went through another continuity just to get his eyesight and voice back after the diving bell accident, since we don't know the exact timelines for most of the lore, nor how long they have lived. It was probabably Loid just helping him out with the insanely advanced medical tech the Orokin had.
I actually wonder if Albrecht and Loid ever actually did a continuity ritual at all, since extending their life _by mind-raping kidnapped children to possess their bodies_ like the other Orokin did would make Albrecht and Loid's romance way less wholesome...
@@Maverick2736I mean, they'd already been doing it up until the Incident, and there are plenty of other examples of them being awful people

This is here to help simplify the textbook of lore about the man in the wall and his first documented encounter
so the short of it is Albrecht was a scientist for the orokin who was using the void to find space travel like the warp from 40k but nobody else thought it would work so they ridiculed him
While experimenting on the void with his daughter(mother) he opened up the void and accidentally fell in
Looking around seeing his own home figuring that he failed again but looks to find an eldritch horror that looks like him staring back at him and slowly burning his eyes
Albrecht fearing for his existence he runs away from what we now refer to as the man in the wall and jumps back through the portal damaged and traumatized
The orokin finding immortality through the transferring of body’s and mind editing no longer have any real struggle but Albrecht none too thrilled decides to reject immortality and die after using the finger cut from wall-e to make railjack technology and push the orokin to the stars
The last bit is the tricky part but I speculate that it’s a description of A) wall-e’s true essence and form and what his plans are
And this quest adds another four pages of information to wall-e and his dealings like what part does y2k have to play in the story
44:45 I had the exact same reaction
Thank you for the stream Ebi :3
16:46 you have had the ability to listen to this lore as you ranked up with loid when deimos came out, this isn't new btw
48:10 PLZ DONT Copyright the channel it’s on streamer mode!!
Missed the stream but good for you ebi
Great stream ushio
2:07:11 Psychological Shrapnel is... The name of my new Prog Rock band
47:19 Warframe 1999
"By the Void" sound more funny when you know Void in Latin is "Inanis" 😆
I think I have a set for Mesa Prime if you wanted to trade for it.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact Albrecht values Loid more than his own daughter and grandchildren
His daughter worked alongside him until the Incident, at which point- can you really blame him for sealing away from the world?
@@quantumblur_3145 he had time travelling powers so he’d knew she’d turn into infested. Question is why didn’t he added failsafes or cures?
@@whitejester Based on the odd strain of infestation in this embodiment of 1999, maybe he was developing ways to preserve sentience in infested individuals? Maybe he was trying to streamline Rell's transference loop method of chaining Wally, by combining the host and mind together. Harrow was literally titled "The Harrowing Vessel"
@@quantumblur_3145 good point, but still rip normal Euleria and his grandkids.
@@whitejester theyre much more interesting people as infested, so i dont really mind lol. i mean, being "normal" in the reality of warframe is probably the worst thing.
I'm honestly mad that plot focused on Albereight and Loid's relationship instead of fighting an evil god
That's the overarching plot. Listen, we're not beating an eldritch being that embodies the cold indifference of space by over powering it. The Void is energy made manifest and is affected by emotions. So we didn't win with physical power, cuz it wouldn't be enough. We won with emotions, Loid's specifically due to his *indifference* to his totally not lover.
thats gonna be 1999 >:)
I mean it's literally the start of a new chapter as they said, I think that will eventually happen in some way whenever this part of Warframe's chapter ends in the future, like how we finally got to fight Ballas in the New War
Pretty sure 1999 is gonna have us freeing Albereight from the man in the walls control then the next questline will be the set up for the final confrontation with the questline after that being the actual fight/war against him.
The man in the wall is such a huge part of warframe and the lore that there's no way they'd have us fight and beat him in a single questline it's gonna be over multiple ones most likely with a lot of build up to the final battle which I'm sure they'll have it be this huge epic battle. Aside from that the doppelganger of us isn't even the man in the wall anyway it's just an avatar of his, pretty sure the big entity we saw at the end of the new war was his actual main body.
Old man live IS how we fight an evil God
Oh boy she has the cleanest orbiter, of every tenno in the solar system. XD
