The scoring system is flawed. Took a quick glance to spot that. To place such percentage weighing system, all categories have to give out equal amount of points (total). 50pts for main, 50pts for video, 50pts for zoom etc. You get the point. Here's an example why your system is flawed, using your own chart: Zoom accumulated a total of 38pts (@5%) whilst something like Stabilization accumulated a total of 28pts (@7.5%). Zoom would translate to 0.6333(3)% average added percentage per phone, Stabilization would translate to 0.7% average added percentage per phone. While Stabilization via your ranking should result in 50% more weight into the end score (1.5x5%=7.5%), in reality, it translated to around 10% more. If you adjust relative to Zoom: If zoom is 5% of the score, stabilization relative to it, is 5% x 1.105 = 5.53% (approx). Another one: Main: 37 points @ 20%: 7.4% (total) Video: 42 points @ 15%: 6.3% (total) This means, that for the main, that should weigh 20%, and give 33% more importance to the end score relative to video, it's instead 17.4% not 33.333(3)% And the worst offender here: Audio: 11 points @ 5%: 0.55% (total) Zoom: 38 points @ 5%: 1.9% (total) That's almost 4x more percentage-based points given out. Four times! I truly find it ironic that not a single "expert" in the "entire production team" didn't notice this once when creating this abysmal rating scale, that is wildly inconsistent, not just across the table itself, but across videos (due to different amount of tests in each category).
