Have there been any major repair costs since you’ve got the car 2 years ago? Looking to buy a 2011 Cayenne S with 128,000 miles but I’m just worried about repair costs and stuff and the whole transfer case thing Thanks!!
Hi, I purchased my 2011 base with 121k over 2 years ago and have not seen any major repair costs. I purchased an aftermarket warranty to cover the major components for the first year/15,000 miles but didn't need it. I would say the transfer case is one of the biggest expenses though. I had actually purchased a 2013 right before this SUV, but the vehicle experienced hesitation under acceleration and thumping when turning right immediately. I returned it to the dealership within the 72 hour window and canceled the purchase. I believe the base is a really decent engine and is pretty lightweight so suspension issues are avoided. The more expensive model bring more complex issues. I've been extremely happy with the purchase and nothing but regular maintenance is required. Some things you will save money on if you can do them yourself, like battery changes ( underneath driver seat), headlight bulb changes, but the vehicle is super durable!
Hi brother Im planning to buy a used cayenne with 3.6 v6..im new to cayenne because i dont know anything about it, but i drove my friends cayenne and i fall in love.. So im planning to buy one, a 2013 3.6 engine. Will it be costly to maintain brother

Don’t buy it if you can’t work on it yourself. Find one with less miles. 80k or less.
Was the transfer box making noise before the fluid change?
