Replace the PCM 3.1 in my wife's 2011 Porsche Cayenne with an Android 13 unit from China. ALIEXPRESS special. The difference is night and day. The fits and finishes are perfect!

Midas told me I ordered the wrong strut inserts and that I should get the entire strut assembly instead. However, they claimed they couldn't find any strut assemblies for the 944. I decided they we wrong. I could have gone with the Koni struts but this is a budget build and she's not going on the race track.

Hi, I just purchased a '16 cayenne base for 13k. Garage kept... Looks new inside and out. Getting studied up on the maintenance particulars. Already bought 5 gl of approved oil and trans, transfer case fluid.
Great purchase! Be prepared, I know the VR6 motor in mine takes a lot more oil lol, but I think by 2016 you have a turbo charged motor, correct?

Yessir. You don't get the insurance break because it doesn't have the blind spot monitoring and you only get one centrally equipped lock and unlock button, but yes it's a lot of SUV for $11k

Hi I started looking at this video with some doubts but I have to admit you helped me a lot. My problem was slightly different but still located in the latch unit (like you) but the motor was not stopped in time so the "clutch" on the secondary gear was stuck solid. Using a small DC variable train transformer I was able to rotate the motor with a very smooth movement. Possible reason in my case, one of the micro-switches did not report in good time to stop the motor. A bad dude from Paris

We had a N/A before and we took the bumper off like that, removed the bumper pads and filled the holes. Then reinstalled the bumper and compressed those shocks all the way in for very nice tucked in look. That gives the front a nice turbo look.
I was thinking about that! Yessir! Lol, as soon as I put the bumper back on I was thinking, well what if I compress both shocks 🤣 I think I'm doing it too 👍🏽

I found over the years it would have been better to stop at a car wash on the way home and spray engine cleaner. Hit it hard. Your garage and driveway will thank you. I owned a 1987 944 super clean and ran great. I miss that car ...Good luck! We all miss them when the drive away from us. This car has some kind of soul. Yeah, I'm still learning body work and progressing with doing a better job. Learning not to rush, kill all the rust, use as least bondo as possible. To be honest, I'm really starting to enjoy the work! It's peaceful work! I'll keep the videos coming!

Resto-mod nothing to crazy but full restore in and out. On click lower on the torsion bar, lowering springs on the front. Possible a 3rd pod conversation to LCD screen for infotainment.
