The corn, "elotes" is eaten by our latino family with mayo, parmesan and valentino or tapatio hot sauce.. My husband is from Oaxaca, for the ladies it's much cleaner to cut the corn off the cob and mix fresh kernals with a tablespoon or so of mayo and then top with parmesan and hot sauce, some like a wedge of lime with it. We have 9 kids and all have grown up enjoying this fun and delicious treat.

2 weeks ago we moved to our first apartment after spending 2,5 years at my mother's house. We are a family of 4 and we had only two bedrooms, so it was very tight but it was worth it. We love our new place. Sending lots of love, peace and happiness for this time. Hugs from Chile 🇨🇱♥️
We just moved into a rental this weekend- no a/c no dishwasher and the hot water is mud brown- that is getting fixed today and it cooled down and I’m stocked on paper plates so that’s good!

In response to your question regarding the dent. I don’t know about a fridge dent, but for car dents we have used a plunger or poured boiling water over the dent. Good luck,nothing more frustrating then blemishes from moving. Love your families goals for the future. Life is always about change and you need to embrace the change, not be afraid of it.

I have just finished viewing the homemaker video and I must say I admire your tenacity and your upbeat outlook on moving homes. Based on what you said about the surroundings of your past home I think you've made a great decision. Glad to see that you have very supportive family and friends to help. I know its not easy as you are affected both emotionally and physically when moving. Can't wait to see the finished product. No need to apologize to your viewers regarding your household choices. You and your family will be the ones living there and that is what is important. I wish you have a great time in your new home. The grandparents will be even happier as they will be able to bond with the kids daily because before you know it they will all soon be growing and having their own families. I've moved 10 times in the last 10 years. The last 6 years, as a single mom and my last move was an out of state move from LA to Vegas where I had ONE friend who helped. Needless to say, I've developed some trauma with moving. 🤣

It's a huge place.. very nice. Those bins are the best, they hold a lot! One solution to making them look, less "busy" so it looks seamless is to cover up the holes with a large ribbon or fabric in white or a pop of color in the meantime. I was able to chalk the good size dent and lucky enough to have the wall paint. This is no comparison to a refrigerator. We still were so grateful for our movers. Yes I know you were too.

I say put the fireplace online for free. It's still in good shape. My dump has shipping containers people can put still good materials in for free. I got an old Kenmore sewing machine with table that way. Quick repair and it works! I often find something useful. I hope you have a wonderful week!
Our contractor used one of those dent things on a dent they made on my range. Those daylight lights are so much better. We change them all out in the summer house.

I have a friend who had her washer upstairs and it flooded her entire house. The plumbing bust while they were at church one day and they were gone most of the day. They came home to a flooded downstairs and it was raining in their living room.

I have lived in basement apartments my entire married life so far. We have always had "daylight" bulbs to cancel out some of the darkness in the overhead lighting. The lamps on my end tables in the living room & on the nightstands in the bedroom have warmer lighting bulbs. Also, we don't want our budgie to feel like the apartment is a dungeon so we have the $8 Ikea uplighter lamps that we keep on during the day when the cage is uncovered so it's bright "enough" for him. The lighting in the kitchen is terrible even with a daylight bulb. It has bad placement so you're basically blocking your own light when you attempt to do anything at the sink or the counter. We changed out whole house to daylight bulbs and it makes a huge difference.

Yes, the moving company should cover your fridge. We had our washing machine messed up in a move, and they took care of it:)

For dents on cars, it works. Ding King. Like a black type of glue that you then apply the suction thing to. It works!

Hanging shelves to hang on door might help. Also which is not as deep? The freezer or the fridg. That might give you more room to open door.

The lighting in the kitchen is terrible even with a daylight bulb. It has bad placement so you're basically blocking your own light when you attempt to do anything at the sink or the counter.
