Iv got a 24 HL 850. Just watched your video on the pipe tune and clutch kit. Would you say it’s worth it? Got a couple buddies with outlander 850s and my Polaris can keep up to them pretty darn good which throttles them. Hoping if I do a couple things that help me get them off the line I can smoke them
I could outrun the can ams with the clutching, tune, pipe, and high gear swap. Would outrun stock 1000 Polaris’s but 1000 can am would get ahead on the big end. Definitely made the bike more responsive and felt like a lot more power as well.
The right side cooling fan had a sporadic driver fault, meaning the driver would sense it was being stopped (safety fault) and it would kill the driver. I was unaware that it would kill both fans when that happened. New cooling fan and we were good to go! The fans shouldn’t have any drag or resistance and spin freely
Could be an electrical failure somewhere in the machine, but that's purely speculation without being able to run diag. Definitely not a normal occurrence though.
Depends on the dealership and the warranty! Polaris factory warranty wouldn’t cover it due to the fact Polaris will ask for a service report which scans the ECM and can tell a ton of info about the vehicle (tunes, overheat shutdown, top speed, rpms, etc.) Most aftermarket warranty companies won’t ask for the service report and will mostly not be able to tell it’s tuned unless dealer informs them!
@@JayThompson25 that makes sense! My dealer is awesome and always takes care of me, but I have the polaris factory warranty so it’s got its limits I guess.
Luckily it wasn’t the tune! It was the fan driver. I didn’t know that if one driver fails it will act as a safety and stop the other fan from running. Meant to protect from burning the fans up if mud or debris get into the fans but in my case, it just meant no cooling 😂
Hi Wonder if you need some lighting upgrade for the vehicle? Looking forward to build a sponsorship with you!
Random question do you know where the auxiliary location on the F150 like yours because mine has a aux button but I can’t find a hole to plug it in
If they’re equipped with the aux input it’s on top on the center of the dash square. Bottom left corner if you’re sitting in the driver seat

@@JayThompson25 I’ll defiantly have to get some stuff on order then. I havnt done a high gear swap but I’m debating on it
Any updates on getting the ECU or fans.?? I burned, locked up a fan when I got water in the fan motor from power washing it.. do the fans spin freely?

What is the switch under the left handle bar?
It’s a left hand throttle!

@@JayThompson25 thank you!
I got a 2020 sportsman 850 premium model I have went threw 5 fuel pumps in 500 miles after a ride it burns one up any idea what’s causing it??
Are you replacing with OE pumps? Any contamination in the tank/filter sock?
I have used oem and after markets and I can go on one ride and seems like it burns up after a tank of gas and no dirty filter or sock

Hey what muffler is on that Polaris
It’s a RJWC mud edition!
How will they cover the ecm if it had a tune? My dealer said that a tune is basically a warranty killer.

Not the first time I have heard about a tune nuking an ECU sadly :(
