I have a 2022 scrambler with forged pistons stock compression. Everything stock with primary and secondary stm. Got the clutches tuned and engined tuned for c15 fuel and a full big gun exhaust and did 52hp to the rear wheels on 37s bkt tires
@@JayThompson25 also I would like to add the mod shop in grand prairie here in alberta makes a full exhaust, they claim around 10hp gain with the full exhaust and about 5 with just a slip on, if your looking to get a few more ponies lol
If you look at the video screen shot at 12:19 it shows all the H.P curves. Notice before the very end it dips, then comes back up. Why is that? I'm having the same issue with an RVS clutch kit, I think the secondary spring is too weak. Causing the RPM's on my 850 Ultimate trail to fall to 7600 Rpm at between at around 62 MPH - 69 MPH which after that 69 MPH the RPM's come back up. They start at 7200 RPM's ++ Up until that point, then slowly drop. You want it around 7100 - 7200 RPM through the whole shift ( If possible) Because the secondary clutch is such as pain to remove, I've changed the primary spring out first to an EPI teal. Which has helped! Will change out the secondary also when I get a chance. Ryan from RVS has been helpful in trying to solve this issue with me, No complaints with him. Also I have a stage 1 RVS tune 91 octane which also helps. It's just interesting to see the dip on the dyno that I have been fighting with on mine.
The clutch kit and custom tune are around $850 together! The RJWC exhaust is available for $599, but I can get you a better deal if you call interstate 69 Motorsports in Union city and ask for me 🤙🏻 we also have high gear swaps in stock!
Unfortunately I was never able to find a cam that was worth it for these engines, talked with several engine builders and from what I gathered, you’d have to do more than a cam to pickup anything more than 3-8hp but there isn’t much support for power adders on the quads. A ton for RZR but not near as much for the sportsman’s
For the money, the 850 is a better value. I'm sure a 1000 has a noticeable increase in power, but it's probably not an insane difference. The 850 has been great. Hate that I have been so busy with work, but planning on making more videos soon.
Funny that I have a Standard Sportsman xp 1000 and I'm doing the Full Highlifer transmission because mine weight is over 1200 lb. With 63 1/2 " wheelbase setup for extreme rock crawling. Did take the speed limiter out of the clutch make a difference or have a problem with the belt bottoming out in the secondary has I have been told
@@JayThompson25 Thanks for the quick reply and did you use the RZR Reverse Chain? I used one in my Sportsman xp 1000 and so big looks like it would rub the back of the transmission a little. I got the transmission back to gether today and I did a Full Highlifer gearing 61 tooth reverse shaft and high gear 33 tooth. Highlifer Chain and 19 and 47 tooth sprockets . And all the bearings replaced with SKF BEARINGS. And will have to take out the spacer for more up shift.
Yes, I didn’t have any issues with the reverse chain upgrade. Wanted to do the super single chain but didn’t think it was necessary for what I wanted to do with it!
3234774-53 tooth reverse shaft 3235133- high gear While you’re in the trans, replace the reverse chain with 3235633 (better reverse chain) I can order you all these parts together if you call Interstate 69 Motorsports and ask for Jay!

54 to the wheel is pretty nutty, probably could put a few more ponies down with a stm secondary
Eventually would like to swap to stm! Just a little pricey at the moment 😂

What stage rvs tune did you apply? Thanks for taking your time to do this. A lot of info in this video ! Great vid
I did the rvs stage 3!
Awesome vid 💪🏻
Can you post the actual dyno print outs or what rpm was the maximum H.P and max torque made at? Thanks 🙂

How much did it cost for the uogrades i have a 850 im definitely interested!!!

Would like to see a dyno run with the header pipe. Header pipe made a noticeable difference on some of the sport quads I've had.
Where do you get the header pipe for the 2022 850hl?

Can you do remote tunes?
If you had to do it again would you buy the 850 or go with the 1000?

Get cat delete headers. That will be 4 or 5 hp gained.

Did you install the high mount winch afterwards?
I installed the winch after I got the machine! It’s a kolphin 4500 lb! Works just as factory designed
@@JayThompson25 Oh nice! I see it’s high mounted like the 1000. Did you have to get the high mount part separately?
Just the regular 1000 bumper and winch together! Works great bolts right up
@@JayThompson25 Awesome! Can you link the parts needed for the install? I’d love to have this done on the 850 I’m purchasing.
Can I get wheel specs?
How much speed was grained?
Normally they top out at 55, I did the high gear swap and it reads 75+ on the dash after all the upgrades
how much did you pay for your high gear swap?
I think the gears all together were right around $400 and if you pay a shop to do it, you’re looking at another 4-500
