Does the 2005 king ranch have traction control i cant find any dash buttons but when i look it up sone articles say kt does some say it dosent

I've got a 05' F-150 5.4L 3V...XLT Super Crew with 75k miles...been sitting for 3yrs Needs VVT solenoids changed, which i just bought Motorcraft parts...had oil changed and new battery the week it got parked..... The oil is so necessary because of the heads design has small drain holes....I'm going to go ahead and do a JEGS timing kit, with the upgrades Mellings oil pump....My 16yr old daughter is going to inherit the truck...

I like how your f150 sounds you have it straight pipe or you have a aftermarket exhaust??

I’m reading these miles….and I feel good about one I’m looking at. 2004 4x4 Lariat. Super clean. 5.4 Triton. 252,000 miles. I think I may get it based on all your comments.

Just the one quick tip, more important with these since short oil change intervals. Before you turn on the engine, go ahead and press the gas and brake pedal simultaneously and start it for 10-15 seconds at least so you can get the air out of the filter and won't have a pressure drop while the air is circulating through the pump and cause most of the wear engines go through, for other engines it is advisable to prefill the filter, but since this one is at an angle the correct procedure is to do it this way. Holding both pedals will turn the engine over without giving it any fuel. Hope this helps

May I ask why the overhangs are framed on the thumbnail on shop but you do not have overhangs on finished building? Just curious

I have the 5.4 and I didn’t check the spark plugs before I got it. My spark plugs seem to be rounded off so I’m going to need a tool to get them out

On the shop, was it much of a price increase stick building it vs post?

Details on concrete? Are both the house and shop a monolithic, traditional, or floating slab ? How thick? Rebar or wire mesh? Fiber? How many inches of rock did you put down under the slab?

If you're gonna do an "install" video it would be helpful to actually show the install and not just the end result. No clue how you attached the fan & shroud to the radiator.

These are great engines despite what some will tell you. I haven't had a 5.4 3V as of yet. I do have three vehicles with the 4.6 3V's in them. they all run great. The 3V's are great engines I love them especially with the 6R80 six speed.

I've got 2005 Ford F-150 xlt 5.4L 3v with 70k miles...i tried replacing the VVT solenoids with cheap ones, and they didn't work...i have the timing chain slap, but on a Snap-On diagnostic is says everything is great except for the solenoids....and i bought the OEM Ford Motorcraft VVT solenoids, and seals...i haven't changed them out yet....I've been through plugs, and replaced all the coil packs with Flame Throwers...the truck hasn't been moved it a year and a half...i just changed the oil, and new battery that's been unplugged....wanting to build off-road shtf truck.....we'll see how it goes....New Sub hoping i can learn something i don't know about these trucks....I know about the heads and bad oil flow....thought about the JEGS timing kit, with Mellings stronger oil pump....thought about new heads...but the overhead cams configuration cost more....anyone with any tips would be appreciated....I've got to replace my cab caps too...and a little rear bed fender work...that ill cover up with fender flares...

Hi there i sure like to know why my 5.4 triton if i drive truck daily it start ...if leave for 2 days or more dead battery .. i have new battery in it ... i took off -cable and put on or touch on and sparking spmething drawing current like crazy cant figure it out..!!!!

I brought a used 2002 4.6 f-150. Worst truck I had from Ford. A money pit, for stealing the catalytic converter, then the fuel pump had to be replaced.

Any recommendations on seat covers?

Purchased my 2008 Ford F150 new in Dallas,Texas. 55,000 thousand miles on it now. No problems other than drive line needed oiling at the rear. Best truck ever and awesome truck to drive! Have purchased many Ford trucks through the years; they awesome and most dependable truck to get you to where you need to be!

Looks like youre in the south where we have lights and technology. Go to the northeast and itll be worse since they dont have lights there.

I have 178 and some change and I do a four thousand on mine and I don't use nothing but Motorcraft oil and Ford filter and if they don't have that I use a Wix XP. What fan kit did you use.

I use motor craft 5w30 and motor craft filter oil and change at 3000 miles cheaper to change oil then a engine

I know this is an older video, but what did you torque the spacers to? I've researched a little and I come up with people saying 85-95 and some saying 150

I have a couple of questions? 1, can you put Rust oleum on the new part to minimize the rust, and can you return the old bearings for money or be recycled? Thanks for helping explain things as I'm trying to make my 04 f150 4.6 better than OEM. Have 80k on it. Can you do a video on noise/sound insulation on the cab? I have issues hearing people outside it and turning the sound up just to hear my AM/FM/cell. Thank you again

Well guys I’ve always ran motorcraft 5w20 and filter its whole life with one tune up. I’ve had this truck pretty much its whole life. 2004 with 212k miles still running strong.
