My Dad owned a oilfield trucking business I did this stuff for 30 yrs started in 1968 drove my first transport at 9 yrs old done it all bro what I really dig is operating Hot Oil trucks I know I've got at least 100,000 barrels hauled under my belt gotta love it to be good at it be safe my friend
i just got my cdl on tuesday, and am starting my new job friday hauling dry van. I'm hoping after a year or two driving OTR getting into the oil/gas business. I like your channel a lot and how honest you are about the actual job you do. stay safe man!
My most popular vid on my RUclips channel is the one where I have go pro mounted to my safety helmet and I show from start to finish how we off load . Food for thought sir for your channel .I also tend to find people like to see as much hands on offloading or talk 👍
Great job on the vids man. I’ve hauled similar stuff as well. Went to the hazmat side. Looking into fuel down in Tx. I remember before hauling SW, I couldn’t find anything about that job on RUclips. Thank you again and you’re doing an awesome job. Keep it up bro 🤙🏽
Yea we have some tanker trailers equipped with that airline and those are the ones we send to do those jobs with the picky gaugers. I normally do the same routes for the same operator on daily basis and these guys dont mind if i take a lil bit less than 130. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to have it just incase.
yo bro just subscribed. pulling tanker is my dream, especially oil fields. got my cdl A tankers endorsement. where can i get started? im also from laredo, found your channel on my recommendation
Thank you bro for the support i really appreciate it 🙏🏻 Honestly most companies are really picky with the experience, most won't hire unexperienced drivers. I recommend you apply at Lewis Energy in Encinal they have a program for new drivers and it will benefit you in the long run. They train extremely well and have good benefits as well. I wish you best of luck 🙏🏻
Is this job hard too learn? I’m in Tennessee and I’m looking online, there’s several jobs for vacuum truck drivers in the oil fields. But they all want at least six months experience.
Its not that difficult to learn how to operate the vacuum truck. However it will take time to learn all the different types of jobs that we do with the truck. We do Production water loads, bottoms, service jobs, oil transfers, mud hauls and skimming jobs. The hardest part is finding someone to give you the opportunity to learn since almost everyone asks for oilfield and driving experience. I recommend applying in big companies they usually are the ones that accept non experience drivers. Goodluck bro 💯

Should you have stayed in the rear of tanker while it was being loaded
Put an air line to clean out the hose so you can load the 130 some gaugers are picky for you to take till the tank scrubs out
