This was like having on the job training. Excellent video Sir, thank you.
No problem!
5:10. Bit of advice. That bleeder valve on the side should be used as a pressure test. Water isn’t bad but some of the lighter oils and condensates can build a lot of pressure and that cap is aimed towards a very sensitive area.
start my first day of water transfer on tuesday, very nervous about it being my first oilfield / trucking job. thank you for this video!! helped ease my nerves some!
how is it going?
Have you gotten the hang of her yet with your nerves eased yet?
How did it go? I start next sunday!!
It's interesting to see how people in the other Patches do it, like up here in North Dakota,(I've been doing this for now 5 years now) we don't usually utilize a vent line unless the well in question is a known Sour Well. And generally Producers aren't too strict on their safety practices unless there's an actual Operation going on.
I'm about to start water hauling in south Texas w one of my best friends. Also follow your tiktoc. Super stoked. He says the money is pretty darn good
Can I have more info. I am about to finish CDL school.
Basically, this was a good informative video. Basically, I learned how to load a water trailer. Basically, follow everything in order. Basically, this is as basic as it gets. Basically, thank you for posting this video. 🙂
I’m basically glad you watched!
When employers ask for “1year oil & field 2 years CDL.” How do they expect you to get the 1 year oil field experience? I am sorry if this has been asked before.
I Always wonder that too. I had all my serts but no experience I'm trying to get the experience but they won't give me chance, but if I went to prison for 1 or 2 years they would higher me on the spot with no experience that 💩 crazy
It's there INSURANCE that won't cover any new drivers without any experience. They might even really like you but there insurance won't cover you as a new driver because your very high risk
I went to Select water solutions yesterday for a job, and explained I was fresh out of school, and they were pretty understanding.
I went to a school with a high success rate and a lot of places are willing to over look the no experience because of it
An answer for this from the man himself would be great
En West Texas no son tan estrictos, cuando empiezas te mandan con alguien más, no te pueden dejar sólo, es fácil lo único que necesitas es práctica, y es mejor trabajar al principio con fresh water.
Thanks for the tutorial. Real simple termolgy. I have been watching the drivers under my watch. And have asked questions. But you sir really did a great job of filling in the gaps. Thank for taking the time and sharing. As always, be safe out. there.
I call everything “flavor”: scents, colors, anything. It’s more fun that way. “Red flavored urinal cake” as example.
Astronaut ticket, level, technology..john..
Thanks for the information
Thank you I appreciate this
Phenomenal video.
Enjoyed the instructional video.
Best video so far
This is a very good video man. Very informative. You got me thinking about doing this. I live in Texas too, Amarillo to be exact. Very interesting.
Phenomenal video.14:12 was interesting too, that someone thought of that. Learned a lot in this video, thank you.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I haul Gas in Houston and thinking about a tanker position somewhere in west Texas. great video!
I used to drive for Brady, moving rigs in west Texas. Looks like you've got a good gig.
I use the same sort of shim you use on your cam locks. Makes it nice and tight, no leaks!
Heck yes, shims are definitely a hot commodity in this field lol 😂
If you load light oil, you better raise the tank up to avoid splash and air
Space unit, cabins... Mining release planet ore..space..
Get out of the way driva!!! Haha dang water haulers... Whoop N ride driva!!! Waving a hand from Orla whoop whoop
Wassup Orla Driver! Where you working at up there in that lovely place!
For a moment, I thought you drive one of those winch trucks or something like that
One year OTR doing dry van also have my tankers would be easy get a job out there I just need to remove my automatic restriction
Hey man thanks for commenting, yes you can get a job out here, I was doing some research this past week and found out that a lot of service companies like Halliburton and Schlumberger are hiring no experience for Frac and cement hands.
@@WeroLocoTrucking ok but there trucks are Manuel so I still have take restriction off and what about I say I went and bought a truck couple months from now is that process pretty simple as well or they expect you have more experience as owner op and thank you for response and all knowledge
Working on my Class A with Hazmat and tanker endorsement I live in WV we have water truck jobs here but them hill and mountains lol Im thinking of moving to the Texas area or Louisianna
Heck yeah man those hills in WV are no joke, I used to run through there at least once a month when I was doing Flatbed
@@WeroLocoTrucking Yea thats why they just use the short water bottle trucks up here no way they could pull a tank up to the well sites its a dangerous job but it pays good almost 30 hr but Ill probably head down south or to north dakota try and haul crude in about a year
That’s awesome man! Let me know how it goes!
Very informative video man. Im looking at going to school to get my cdl. Do you recommend going straight from school to this line of work or should I get some OTR experience first? My father in law is doing what you do but in Pecos and said he’d help me out. Just hesitant since I’ve only done office work.
Man it’s whatever you feel comfortable with. If you can get an Oilfield job right out the gate go for it, the best way to learn to swim is to just jump in. But OTR is never a bad thing either. I’ve considered going back to flatbed. It’s really up to you.
Whats the work schedule? Days off, etc? Yearly pay?
Yo! Thanks for the video - this is super helpful! Do you use paper tickets all the time or do you sometimes use an app?
Thank you for the super. I have actually only used paper tickets, a lot of oil companies will dispatch load’s through an app now. Mostly to keep trucking companies honest.
Can you do a video on how to get a job in the oilfield as a driver? I’m from VA and I’m having a hard time getting on with a company out there since I live so far away. If you have any tips or info please let me know! 🤘🏻
Tyler, thank you for the idea! I put out a video on how I got my first trucking job out here, but obviously things have changed since then but I will definitely drop one on this topic, thanks for your insight!
@@WeroLocoTrucking Oh, I must’ve missed that one! I’ll check it out now. Thanks for replying, look forward to seeing the new video! Stay safe :)
Hello wero. I am getting my semi truck next month how can I get leased to a company with my own truck. I’m from Laredo Tx. I’m interested in salt water hauling. Please help me out with some tips. TIA!
great video man I’m trying to get in the oilfield just found your channel 4 days ago and watched all you oil field videos thanks question is your company hiring I’m 23 2 years otr experience trying to get my foot in the door I want to do cement for SLB but I will settle for anything to get started
@Kingrich awesome man, I appreciate your comment. I pumped cement years ago with 9nine Energy. I know the owner of this company is supposed to be buying more trucks next month. I will definitely let y’all know when they come in. But keep applying, I know a lot of vac truck companies in Pecos are hiring.
@@WeroLocoTrucking help me get a job and I'll give you 5% of everything I meant. Good videos, keep it up.
@LetsHuntDucks lol 😂 thanks for the comment, I know my company won’t be hiring till they get some more trucks next month. I’m just trying to put some accurate information out there but what I can do is make some phone calls to some people I know
@@WeroLocoTrucking ok thank you let me know definitely trying to get out there asap
@@WeroLocoTrucking hell yeah man, I would appreciate it and def compensate you. Are you on Twitter or IG where I can DM you?
Very interesting. About how long does it take to load 125 barrels usually?
Hope your doing well El Effe, so the volume really depends on how job is being billed, but 120 bbls is actually the normal haul volume. Load times depend on diameter of line going into tank facility. Usually a 4 inch line loads in about 12 to 15 min and a 3 inch line takes about 25 to 30 minutes.
Another great video! You work day's or nights? Do you sleep in your truck every night?
Hey Cody, I work both day and night, most days it’s usually an 18 hour day. I do sleep in the truck, most of the time the yard is to far away to go back everyday.
I got 11 months otr experience I got hazmat, tanker, doubles/triples endorsements and clean driving record and background will they take me ?
So in order to get this job you need a cdl, right? Or is there a way to start off in a lower position, and then they can pay for the cdl test and let you use a truck for the test eventually? Im a tree worker climber, and i have plenty of experience driving international manual chip trucks just a few pounds under the cdl weight, along with a hauling a chipper or a long trailer with a mini dozer/grappling machine ( which i also have experience operating). I also have a petty theft felony from 6 years ago when I was down and out on drugs. Do these companies hire felons, and will my truck driving experience have any help towards getting me a job?
please what is the link to apply
What’s the company that you work for
Hey I just got my CDL and I want to do this job what do I need to do to sign up? Or where can I sign up? Can u help me please
Hey bud... how do you bill? Truck, operator, barrels?
Some oil and gas operators will be billed by the barrel that’s usually how drivers will be paid by the load. We also bill at an hourly rate, last I checked carrier was billing oil and gas operator at a rate of $68 per hour, disposal fees, brine or fresh water are covered by oil and gas operator usually.
Is there a way we can get in contact?
Trucker vacuumer to dubai
I’m looking for at least $3000+ after taxes a week. Does this type of job do that?
@The Security Guy You can definitely do that but you will need to put in a ton of hours, that type of money doesn’t come easy but it is definitely possible
Are you hiring ?
What country are you from
USA
@@WeroLocoTrucking wow. I'm from India. I love America 😍🫡
man im about to relocate to Hobbs and grab my cdl and do exactly this!! TRUMP 2024 AND THAT OILFIELD GONNA POP OFF SO HARD!!!!! So glad I found your vids!
