Lamar was Born a Star he did it all his life he made a Louisville team with nobody’s into something just imagine if he went to a Alabama, Oklahoma or one of them big schools, even after winning MVP and putting the Ravens on his back he’s still not respected and hated so much you would think every young QB have a ring instend of him
Or if he was with Ohio State where they love having his style of QB and build around it, they probably would have never lost a college game as long as they had him 🤣🤣😭
The thing that sets Lamar apart from everyone else is his intangibles. His intangible qualities of leadership and good sportsmanship, his love of football, and his humble nature put him on the pedestal of greatness. These qualities, coupled with his god level skills, have already earned him a place in football Valhalla. Notice how he is always smiling and laughing. He never trash talks anyone, but gives his teammates, coaches, fans, and even his opponents credit and respect. Lamar is a breath of fresh air in an NFL laden with negativity. @Ken e Goode That was the greatest tribute to Lamar I have ever read . He is LOVED in Baltimore. Thanks LVILLE. By the way thanks for the other great QB from LVILLE. Johnny Unitas!!!!!!!
many don’t realize that we are now witnessing the era of a electrifying football player that may never be matched …people are going to start respecting Lamar.
Thank you for this video. Jackson is a great passer, but that is constantly overshadowed by his ability to run at least in the media outlets. He's simply a different dude, doing stuff that nobody before him has done. I'm so glad the Ravens were smart enough to draft him and ignore all that wide receiver BS. Jackson is going to win multiple Super Bowls. It's just a matter of time.
It's funny how someone can be a top 10 passer, but just because he is also a top 10 rusher, people act as if that's a NEGATIVE. He's a starter in production at 2 of the most important positions in the sport. He's insane.
Eternally happy that this was my first Ravens game in attendance. It was a brutally cold and wet day but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Walking in we knew that if we could beat the 49ers, we could beat anyone. I will always remember that intense battle
That was a great game, but that NE defense was super overrated the whole time. They hadn't played any good offenses to that point, Lamar just exposed them.
There was one juke move Lamar did in that game to split 2 defenders in the backfield when it looked like there was no way out and turned it into 8 yards or something will always be in my head.
@@rockykimpel he’s just simply different man. He makes grown men who are some of the most dominant defenders in the league look like they should be on a junior varsity high school football team. It’s never been another player that compares to what Lamar brings to the table. People bring up Vick as the best dual threat QB of all time but Mike was never the passer that Lamar was at any point in his career. He literally didn’t pass for over 3,000 yards until he was released from prison & went to Philly with Andy Reid. By that time he was on the back 9 of his career. I ain’t knocking him either because Mike was my absolute favorite QB during his playing career because at the time there was no one else like him in the league. If he truly took his craft seriously then there’s no telling what he could’ve accomplish in the NFL
the 49ers game was a pivotal game in his career but he became a superstar after the seahawks game, a team people still doubted and never beat seattle gets led by a 2nd year electrifying qb to a great win in seattle in the rain
man ill never forget this day lol was at my cousins watching left in the 3rd quarter to hang with my then gf first kiss ever best ravens hype game best day of my life.
You've just got another subscriber off of "He's one of the best passers in the league". His passing is incredible everyone keeps carrying this narrative that he's not an elite passer just because he can run and they're just sad people. Lamar has one of the best arms in the league. And only smart people realize that this is true.
As a niner fan I know if there was one way to beat that defense was a mobile quarterback that’s why Murray was good against us as well and Wilson would always kill us. But Lamar did play his ass off this game. Much respect 💯
This guy is the definition of how history gets watered down, Lamar became a superstar against the rams, Seahawks or the patriots….this was only important because these was the best teams in AFC & NFC
Not even Vick, Ok maybe if Vick played in this era. But Vick didn't study clean up some of his problem areas, each yr Lamar gets better in the passing game.
Well ppl got put on notice 1st in the seahawks game....then 20 million viwers wanted to see if this dude was for real vs the niners and he went madden juke stick and nfl blitz throwing on them.
Lol, no pun intended but LJ was a star as Freshman if I recall he was like 2nd or 3rd as Freshman in Heisman only to win it the next time around. Watch College Ball a lot in life and when I saw LJ as Freshman, I said to myself, "My God, he is going to erase that other guy( i forgot his name truly, lol) ugh,, oh yeah Micheal Vick. Nice video thou, never too much of a good thing in Lamar Jackson. The best thing about LJ is the fact he is a genuine class act of who he sees and be with off the field. Just say he is not a gold digger dating type and much more of not clubbing, gambling, racing, ect, ect ect. Lamar is truly a STAR in Life!!!..
Imma niners fan but lamar still has all my respect even now with all the slander around his name i stills think he is one of the best qb’s in the league
I underestimated Lamar Jackson as a 49er fan I literally said our defense will expose him...... Well that didn't age well everyone was getting their ankle's broken people missing tackles like geez after that I said yeah he's gonna be a force in the NFL. I honestly thought the Raven's would make a Superbowl that year 💯🤯
"He played great". That game marked Lamar's lowest passing total of the 2019 season (105 yards), his 11th-highest passer rating (keeping in mind that he only played in 15 games), and only his 5th-highest rushing total of 2019 (and 9th highest in terms of yards per rush). It was one of only six starts in 2019 where Jackson threw for fewer than 2 touchdowns, his third-lowest completion percentage of the campaign, and the first time since week 5 (and only other game during their 12-game winning streak) where the Ravens needed a late field goal to win. If anything, the 49ers matchup served to _strengthen_ critics view that Lamar could only be effective as a runner against competent defenses. By way of comparison, in the preceding three game stretch against Cincinnati (who came into the game 0-8), Houston (6-3), and the Rams (6-4), Baltimore had _averaged_ 45 points on offense and a 36-point margin of victory, while Lamar was a combined 47 of 61 passing for 614 yards, 12 TDs, and 0 interceptions (a 147.8 passer rating), while adding 239 yards and a touchdown on the ground. San Francisco, meanwhile, would go on to surrender 46 points to the Saints in the following week (a season high for New Orleans) while Drew Brees torched them for 349 yards and 5 TDs through the air and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown of his own. I'm sorry, but this video just doesn't make sense.
statistically you're right but there are more factors. the weather was awful that day (I was there) so throwing was gonna be hard. 49ers defense was definitely good (saints were still good and that game was in NO) and they knew it was gonna be a run heavy offense more than usual. he still had 2TDs, plenty of rush yards, quality throws, and a late drive for the win. The knock on lamar was he couldn't win big games and would struggle in those moments. this game proved that was not the case. yes he beat up on bad defenses in prior games, but now he could do it against the best. ravens fans already knew he was a superstar but this just made more people realize it
@@reid7987 I'm also a Ravens fan, and a huge fan of Lamar. But you're mis-remembering your timelines here...the "Lamar can't come from behind" and "Lamar can't win the big games" narratives hadn't really been born at that point. The big criticisms people tried to throw at him back then were that he was just a glorified running back who could hit wide open receivers over the middle of the field and not much else, and that against a good defense which took away those routes he would struggle as anything other than a runner. Weather aside, his performance here made those arguments louder. It's also worth noting that Jimmy Garappolo put up much better passing numbers (still not really _good_ but much better than Lamar's) in that same game. My point is that if you're looking for a game from Lamar's first two seasons that "made him a superstar", this was one of the worst contests to choose. Week 1 of 2019 against Miami, week 3 when Lamar & the Ravens stood toe-to-toe with the Chiefs, the week 7 win in Seattle, the week 9 win against the previously undefeated Patriots who had not allowed more than 14 points in any of their prior 8 games (and where Lamar posted a passer rating 27 points higher than Brady en route to a 37-20 drubbing)), the "he broke his ankles!" game in week 10...Lamar was already well established as a superstar long before the Ravens rolled over San Fran.

Most underrated account on RUclips
I’m a huge Lamar Jackson fan since he was at Louisville and I love watching him play I will always root for him but I love the running back jokes
The 49ers jab had me screaming 🤣🤣
Stoooop!!! Lamar Jackson was a superstar since his sophomore year at the U. of Louisville.
He deserves a ring
Nice video brother. Good presentation. 👍
Eternally happy that this was my first Ravens game in attendance. It was a brutally cold and wet day but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Walking in we knew that if we could beat the 49ers, we could beat anyone. I will always remember that intense battle

This video is fire! Ravensnation 🖤💜 in Cali
This is why I love the Ravens man our man Lamar is amazing and fuck the haters y’all wish you can have a QB like him
He was always a superstar been doing people down bad since before highschool hes goated on every level of football
4 years later history repeated itself ❤
Good vid and early
The day I noticed Lamar Jackson was when Joe Flacoo got injured 2 years after they won the Superbowl...
Didn't the win the Superbowl in 2012?
he was a super star when he hit the coldest juke ever in high school
I’m a Browns fan and I root for Lamar. He is a beast.
I go to all the home games and that Ravens vs pats game was so lit and the Ravens vs sf game was cold asf
Action Jackson saved the NFL that year he was absolutely must see TV 📺
Love vid
he became a superstar in week 1 of 2019
I was there, crazy energy on the field goal
I felt like the SNF vs the Patriots is where Lamar just stream rolled the Patriots defense which was the NFL best at the time.
Lamar we love and respect you. Never doubt yourself no matter what people say. 🥰
the 49ers game was a pivotal game in his career but he became a superstar after the seahawks game, a team people still doubted and never beat seattle gets led by a 2nd year electrifying qb to a great win in seattle in the rain
My opinion for Lamar superstar A+
man ill never forget this day lol was at my cousins watching left in the 3rd quarter to hang with my then gf first kiss ever best ravens hype game best day of my life.
Brings back sad memories of my niners losing in sb
Lamar Jackson will be a first ballot hall of fame QB by the time he retires
Well done
Good set up
You've just got another subscriber off of "He's one of the best passers in the league". His passing is incredible everyone keeps carrying this narrative that he's not an elite passer just because he can run and they're just sad people. Lamar has one of the best arms in the league. And only smart people realize that this is true.
Count Aron Rodgers as one of those smart people. He is on the record saying "Lamar can sling it" I think he knows about QB play!
@@AskMeWhyFDI yeah i saw that somewhere. AR knows what's up!
The Piano 😂😂😂😂
As a niner fan I know if there was one way to beat that defense was a mobile quarterback that’s why Murray was good against us as well and Wilson would always kill us. But Lamar did play his ass off this game. Much respect 💯
i lovve this video

How you enjoying jail?
Mans was racing Jackson Storm
I was there for this game, the weather was no joke
Slammed by rain the whole day and it was Hella cold
PSA! We are winning the Superbowl this year mark my words!!😎💪💯 Ravens Nation!!!!
This guy is the definition of how history gets watered down, Lamar became a superstar against the rams, Seahawks or the patriots….this was only important because these was the best teams in AFC & NFC
I went to this game. So hyped
Pretty epic game. I felt bad for my buddies that are 9ers fans 😂 no I don’t
Lamar Jackson = GOAT qb I have ever seen no one comes close except Michael Vick
Facts can't be slander. 1-3 with 3 tds to 5 ints and two fumbles in the playoffs can't be hate if its true.
I underestimated Lamar Jackson as a 49er fan I literally said our defense will expose him...... Well that didn't age well everyone was getting their ankle's broken people missing tackles like geez after that I said yeah he's gonna be a force in the NFL. I honestly thought the Raven's would make a Superbowl that year 💯🤯
The 49ers defense struggled against Qb's that could run .
i think this is the game he juked kwaun williams out of his socks too
I mean In my opinion lamars game that made him a star was the patriots game I was pretty scared of Lamar going into this game as a niners fan
He became a superstar in high school with that viral clip that everyone has seen.
Good Video bro / At least you’re not a hater Bruh Thank you
Thank you!
Jesus loves y’all ❤️
"Superstar " is a very strong word for a perennial playoff failure but whatever makes raven nation feel good.
God bless you
#ActionJackson 💜🖤🏉🏆
Definitely was the Seattle game to me but he was born a star
Zaddy 👍🏿😩
49ers and Ravens played on my birthday
Fr
You're talking to raven fans don't expect it to make sense they just love nut hugging Lamar.
Real talk!!!!!
He became a superstar after the Seahawks game imo

Lamar Jackson is as good as a qb,running back, and wi
Nah actually it was that Seahawks game bruh. That’s when they started blowing teams out after that game
He became a superstar to me during the draft when the "usual suspects tried to convince him to be a WR, and he stood his ground.
That was respectable. I like your choice.
He was always a star
