    Hope this video and comment section can help out the next DYI person who installs their own Carli type lift kit. I really feel that the Carli instructions are the only thing Carli puts out that are not top notch. they are not bad by any means but each component has its own install manual. The problem i think is when you piece together a kit, you have to figure out what sequence to install all the components. I put together and typed out a 1 page sequence of installation for my kit, prior to the install. was a big help. if you want it, let me know. I even edited a bit based on the outcome of the final sequence. cheers all!

    Great step by step and reference of install sequence for the 2.5 Carli kit. I have their 2.5" signature kit for '17 F350, with track bar and rear shocks in route, once order is fulfilled (week 1 of 2 down). Would like to verify the size of crowfoot I need for the track bar jam nut, which appears to be a 1 1/2" size? Need to get one on order, so I can turn/burn on install when kit arrives. Thanks in advance and great looking rig.

    Finally my back country with torsion came in for my 2022 tremor. Doing methods with Falkens. Would love installation step print out if possible. Thinking ahead will there be headlight problem towing a 8000 trailer, 1000 tongue. Best video on Carli install. Thanks again. What is current value of stock take offs, tires, rims, and suspension. Mileage only 2500.

      Thanks for the kudos.
      Send me your email and I can forward what I printed out in the video. Don’t have any other social media.
      Headlights for sure will be an issue. You can crank them headlights down with a screw driver. I just parked my truck next to my wife’s suv, 25 yards out against a wall and lowered the lights down down to match. 1000 lbs tongue will sag low. Even no load, the lights are high with the Carli front kit.
      Take offs are kind of junk. My shocks were blown at 10k miles. Garbage if you ask me. The tire and wheel combo I sold for $1100. Still have all my old suspension components.
      Cheers

    Can you give an update on what you think of the Carli kit? Likes or dislikes of the kit. Does it meet your expectations? Do you think the torsion sway bar helps the ride as much as Carli says it does? Do you think the Fox reservoir shocks have a good on road ride?

    Great to see the kit finally installed!! Looks awesome! I can't get my Method Wheels on order. The 705's for a SD are still backordered and according to CJC the Torsion sway bar is 3 months out as an estimate. Would love to know the overall height of your truck now. My apartment complex has a 7'-0" max height in our garage and that's the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger. If the lift would put me over 7', then I'll need to wait until the end of the year. I thought I was going with the Pintop 2.5 system full boat with HD Deavers, but now I'm eyeing up this new E-Venture system.

      Will measure it it and let ya know. It’s close for sure. I meant to do that as I park my truck at my local airport a lot and it was close before the lift…
      Everything is so behind in production right now… it is hell trying to piece out these kits. I feel you man!

    Awesome video with detailed instructions. You mentioned re-torquing everything at 500 miles. Can one do that on the ground or the truck has to be jacked to check torque on shocks and other components?

    • @tcr2237
      @tcr2237  2 года назад +1

      I’m sure You can do it on the ground. I just ran through it quick on the lift. Took me 20 mins. Most time was re-setting the torque wrench.

      @@tcr2237 thanks. My install shop didnt retorque so i tried to do it on my own on the ground, also marking every bolt to check that it doesn’t move. Thanks for watching. Ya, I love this set up. Clean and classy in my opinion. Cheers for the new truck! Is it a Tremor?
      Kept the rear stock for now as I have the F350 leafs in the rear. Front sits 1/2- 3/4 lower right now and will settle a bit which is exactly where I want it to be. I tow equipment with it and my skid steer put the rear lower then the front this morning. Something I don’t want when towing so I backed off the tongue weight a bit and it sat nicely. Really makes me want progressive Deavers in the rear with air bags… will need to fork out more $$$ for that…

    • @Talldylocks
      @Talldylocks 2 года назад

      @@tcr2237 No Tremor - I figured that I'd be going the Carli route with new tires/wheels as well, so I decided to put the $ toward that. We opted for the standard rear end, and may go to at least add-a-pack rear springs, then air bags if we need them. Full progressive springs a great choice too.
