I like the cartoony look of the overworld, however the artworks feel cheap and Hiccup looks like he's done with life 24/7. Also wondering why the protag dragon has to be so extra? He looks like a fanmade dragon design and doesn`t fit in at all with the rest, especially when standing right next to toothless :/ Is there any explanation for this later in the game? He just feels out of place to me

Cuz it is undeniably cheap, lower budget game. Doesn't mean the gameplay will be bad, but with those visuals, sounds and art srtyle it doesn't exactly make you want to play it. Even as a fan.
