You did a great job in this video of keeping it high level with actual use-case pros and cons. That is hard to find since some channels love to quote the specs. The specs are hard for me to comprehend, and I really liked your overall message. I have a Boxer Crush in my cart, and now just need to get the courage to buy it.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! Honestly that the way I am, so many people go into the specs and for me yes they are important but at the end of the day I just want a product that works and feels good to use and this controller is both of those things and more!
I'm a thumber and I love my Boxer Max. Feels great in the hand and as comfortable as my old X-Lite gamepad style but with far better sticks. I would have gotten the Boxer Crush but I bought the Boxer Max before it came out.
Cool channel bro. I’ve always used the Tango 2. And I’ve never even considered switching to another controller. But you have mentioned some very valid points that I haven’t thought of before.
Hopefully that helps with the decision making! I had never considered switching from the tango 2 until I wanted to fly tinywhoops and then after feeling the boxer crush in my hands i was immediately sold
Heck yes!!🥳🥳 well hopefully you fully dive into it! And if there’s any burning questions you’ve got lemme know and I can either respond or I’ll possibly make a video about it!
Loved the video. I'm pincher and have the Radiomaster Boxer and the DJI controller 3 for Avata 2. I love the Boxer and I wish I could use it for the Avata 2. Suggestion. don't zoom in, I get distracted watching your eyes reading the text :D sorry
I do too, my life would be so much easier if I could truly just use one controller! And yeaaa…. I noticed it when editing it, I gotta fix my setup so my eyes don’t move as much
I’m not sure how I’ll end up holding my sticks because I only have the Neo, DJI goggles 3 and the Motion controller. Next step is getting the FPV controller 3 because I want to learn manual too.
I would definitely suggest getting into a simulator before trying it on your drone, and then experiment with thumbs and pinching. I fly normal drones with my thumbs but I fly FPV with the pinch hybrid
@@JonnyTrego I never considered a simulator. After doing research I’ve learned to at that’s a good place to start so I don’t have to crash in real life as often haha

Thats awesome! the boxer max is so nice! i wanted to get that one but didnt wanna pay more for it.
I tried it several times, but I will stay with thumb flying. 👍
I get that for sure! Im really weird, for normal cinematic drones I fly with thumbs, but for FPV I pinch
I thumb. I just got me a tango 2 and it will be here this week. Cant wait! Finally a game style RC! 🎉I’m coming from the mambo.
If I didn’t have to have a backup controller we could’ve just swapped!
@ I also need a back up just in case. I have this guy paying me to build him a setup and get him rolling next week lol.

Haha first to comment! Woohoo! I just discovered FPV flying a month ago and I’m excited about learning more and more about all this stuff!
Heck yes!!🥳🥳 well hopefully you fully dive into it! And if there’s any burning questions you’ve got lemme know and I can either respond or I’ll possibly make a video about it!
@ thank you 😊. Yeah I started with just the Neo and the RC N3 and quickly learning I wanted the FPV experience lol
Awesome video brotha. I’m a thumber and use the Tx16s 😂 biggest radio and I thumb
It’s a massive radio! And have you ever tried pinching?
@ I need to retry it I need to find my old stick ends. I use umbrella ☂️ stick ends to rest my thumbs on

Very good vidéo ,thanks.
U should do a video on DJI neo as house tour drone, spolier... it works amazing
Me: impulse buys a controller
Also me: finds all the support of media I can to reinforce that it was a good decision. *Dons tophat 🎩*
Not sure if I'm weird, but I am naturally a thumber. But when I got the Boxer, I find it easier to pinch with no adjustment period.
Thumb flying all the way!
